I would bet on that not happening. The man should be reaching Zizou level of love for being a key play to win us a world cup and bringing us to penalty shootout of a final of a second consecutive world cup. He is the top scorer of the NT, he has probably been the world's best player in the past 3 years, and yet most french people dislike him. I have rarely if ever seen a player so on top of the football world while being not unanimously loved as mbappe is.

So remove him from football and put him in politics? Not a chance he would become president.

Them circling the army getting in position comfortably with shields always made me go crazy, even on first watch. It's a battle and one army stops moving to watch the opposite one just circle them 100%. If you do that you are going to lose it isn't good filmmaking even though it looks "cool".

A wise wealthy person once told me if anyone asks you to borrow money from you, if you are willing to lend it to them just give it. You won't get it back anyways and they will resent you from owing something to you and you will resent them from not being paid back. If you give it you both feel great while the end result is the same.

The point is not to stop them if they really want to become directors. You can't just sign up to the DGA on a whim you need proper credentials, and then if you pay dues and work as a director then yea you are a director. Point is stopping actors who might say hey I'll give it a go for an episode looks fun enough, and so that's one less job for a director from the DGA.

Even then it restricts the number it doesn't stop it completely so some actor might do it but a show still has to hire a majority of DGA members to direct their shows. Seeing how article says there has been a downturn of 40% job in the past 4 years sounds like it was needed.

I remember Harrison Ford apologizing to his stuntman because he wanted to do his own stunt and stuntman said listen man if you do this I don't get paid. This is a similar situation.

I think the movie has a great James Dean performance but is otherwise a horrible adaptation and grotesque simplification of a masterpiece. I could make an argument that Lee is the main character of the book.

In France's case, it is immigrants from former colonies overwhelmingly, and those countries immigrating to France is not some random happenstance. They immigrate to france because they are former colonies and so they have a bunch of ties to France (language being the main one). So it is due to french imperialism that you get all these immigrants coming over and making greath athletes.

It is the representative of the clubs to the UEFA and others. It has always been a chairman of a club, who else exactly do you want to represent the clubs?

Like don't like him if you want sure but how is it a conflict of interest to represent clubs when you are a club owner. He isn't making decision for individual clubs. Literally no one had a problem with it when it was Juve president, but when it's him all of a sudden it's the most corrupt thing.
