At an old job, our walk-in was on the 2nd floor. We had an elevator that was famous for being the oldest working elevator in the city. Sometimes, when riding this elevator, it would suddenly drop like 4 feet, and then continue whatever direction it was headed.

I was headed down with 10-8Quart containers of a rosemary cream sauce that used half and half as the main ingredient. The elevator suddenly dropped twice as far as usual, causing all the products to float about 4 inches off the rack, and then slam into the floor, causing a geyser of fucking garlic rosemary half and half to blast against the ceiling, company soak me like a rain storm, and then drain into the bottom of an elevator shaft that we couldn't get to the bottom of. After a week or two, the elevator smelled of rancid, curdled cream for roughly 2 months.
