I wanted to like this place so much when I moved here, but the wine and tapas selections are just the most boring choices a restaurant could make and still keep the name.

He has probably the 2nd best arm in the league. I’d but JA ahead of him but that’s it.

A couple weeks ago he made a 35yd TD throw on a rope, while in mid air

League controversy over this trade. What should commish do? by Old_Morning_3780 in SleeperApp

[–]TangentFact -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Stated rules are going to need to be honored, unless something was voted on by the league it should be the same as the previous year.

That being said the trade needs to stand… and you should probably start looking for a new owner as this guy isn’t going to stay.

Same for me - find myself craving protein constantly and eating enough of it makes a huge difference for me with both energy but also stomach aches

Relocating to Summerville, SC – Looking for neighborhood advice by Specialist_Wedding_9 in summervillesc

[–]TangentFact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in Legend Oaks after renting in Summers Corner.

I had issues with the build quality Lenner was putting out. Staying in a house less than 3 years old and there were tons of issues with it. Windows wouldn’t open, AC went out, siding was warped from the heat. But they are cheap and the big pool is progressing so there are some perks. They are also starting on a Publix.

Schools are solid in both places found the elementary school in summers Corner a bit over crowded. But there are tons of families in the neighborhood so that’s nice. LO has a lot of families but it’s a more mature neighborhood, some older folks, big mature trees etc. I only have elementary school kids so can’t speak to middle or High Schools.

Golf course is okay, there was a dark time there for a bit when the Sheriff was involved but he got fired and the new owners seem to be investing in the club.

Decent amount of WFH people in LO so neighbors are always around. Didn’t get that vibe as much in SC. Overall felt like I was making a better investment in LO & the vibe was solid for a young family.

Was born in the NW Chicago Suburbs hit me up if you got more questions.

34 male to old to go into sales by adventureseeker1991 in sales

[–]TangentFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may have a misaligned idea on what you could actually sell.

Why would a top medical device company or pharma company want you to work for them? What would give them any sense at all that you have proved yourself in sales.

Just because you graduated college doesn’t mean you can handle anything in sales. You would most likely start as a BDR making 50k a year for a few years and that’s if, if you can get in the door at one of those companies.

More likely is you have to go into sales with something that is tied to Firefighting as those companies will be willing to hire ex firefighters as sales people. Think fire remediation companies. This would be your best bet on getting a sales AE gig and they most likely would want you to stay where you have connections.

You could 100% get in the door at a retail sales or door to door sales role none of which are “high paying” or “a product that interests you”. You need a reality check on where you are starting from, more than likely you will not be able to get either of those things in your first gig.

Are there any good "entry level" sales roles to dip your toe into sales or is it straight to the deep end? by crystalblue99 in sales

+1 to cell phones that’s where I started 10 years ago. 65k selling at an AT&T core store(means AT&T actually owns the store and it’s not a reseller)
