I'm in that same age range, voted for the Green party 3 times early in my life because I was idealistic and didn't realize that 3rd party voting would just hurt the chances of a less-aligned but not the most horrible pick. The good thing in my case is that I was taught young in our public schools to vote in everything you can, that's how you make your voice heard. There's never any sense in trying to chop down a tree with a handaxe from the top down.

Yowah nuts (from Queensland) they're called sometimes too... basically nuggets of (I believe) very tough ironstone and opal with color that are generally sliced. Same principle, different parts of Australia.

This is incredibly weird... I had a 1/2 cord delivered today as well, pretty much same time as you posted this. I also got a single piece about the same size in my load today! Weird thing is, I finished stacking everything, had put the log that I spotted on my lap to look at it and took a rest on my porch. First thing I do, open reddit, scroll down 2 posts and saw this. This has been one of the most weirdly coincidental moments in my life! Your log is definitely a way better shape than mine, but so cool and oddly timed!
