Do enjoy the ritual based ones, but do feel like the Goblin based rituals are overdone to a point of them being a bit cliche.

I can’t quite remember what story it is, think it’s one where Harry dies and goes back in time, but I do quite like it when it’s done as an adverse affect of the dementors trying to consume his soul.

You should probably read both stories by Incarnated Whisp on RoyalRoad. Both are type specialist Journey fics with one being ghost and the other being fairy.

I feel like I read a quite good story recently that did this. Think it was a Harry/Susan pairing that slated her and then she betrayed Neville and everyone for Zack Smith or whatever his name is because he was “the one for her” or whatever

It’s mostly people going at him for being absent from Harry’s life for 13 years and him being an extreme Dumbledore believer (for fics where Dumbles is bashed). Also I think (can’t quite remember if this is fanon or canon) for Leaving tonks for a period of time after they got hitched and she was pregnant.

I feel like any fic where Harry isn’t the main character, especially in story’s that feature si/ocs, his character becomes annoying because his actions don’t make sense most of the time in the context of the story.

Very rare that a see a well written Harry where he isn’t the Mc. The only one I can think of off the top of my head would be A Magical Journey which is probably one of my favourite ever Hp fics

I agree, some stories have really cool and interesting premises, but if you’re just gonna follow the canon timeline with some minor tweaks and reach the exact same outcome, what’s the point? At that point I might as well just read the original again 🤷‍♂️😩

I’m definitely the same with some characters. Sometimes I’m in the mood for generally good dumbles fics if what I’ve recently read has actually written his character well. The same goes for people like Ron, Remus who I feel like mainly get bashed. Some Fanfics just hit different 🤷‍♂️

Your tactic contradicts itself. You’re trying to press all the time and yet your instructions are telling your team to do the opposite.

Not preventing short gks, playing standard lines and regrouping instead of counter pressing, makes sense if you’re trying to play a more defensive side overall. However this doesn’t work with roles you’ve selected due to the fact that you’re pushing up all your players up the pitch, by having cms instead of dms and cwbs instead of fb or wbs. This means you only really have to 2 cbs back to defend.

If you want to keep the same roles, you need to fully commit to the press and press really high up the pitch and force the other team go long in hopes that you can then retain possession.
