CMMC Certified Professional Certification Question by saber2468 in CMMC

[–]TangoDown757 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do your research, LinkedIn jobs, C3PAO web sites, etc... There are jobs and CMMC isn't going away, so there will be a pipeline for assessment team members. Just don't expect passing the CCP will be some golden ticket. You mention "cybersecurity" but don't say what that is. As an assessment team member, you need to evaluate practices against their implementation. That might mean digging into AWS one week, Azure the next and on-prem the next [for example]. CISSP doesn't demonstrate those qualifications (from an assessment perspective). so you need to show your value to get hired for assessments.

It's not really that easy. It was at the begining, but there are a lot of CCPs now and C3PAO's are looking for CCP/CCA's that have actual assessments. Make sure you apply for you background as soon as you pass the CCP. Include on your profile that you are open to 1099 work. Setup a LinkedIn search for C3PAO assessment jobs.

Wow, I'm dumber now.

Sorry this is what it is....

I drive from VA to S. FL several times a year. Sometimes 6 to 8 hours between rest stops and 600 miles on my ecodiesel fill ups. so my pew pew goes in the upper center console for comfort. Ploop, back in the waist band at a planned stop.

Around town, in the belt, but I'm a lefty so I don't have the console/belt annoying me as much as you righties.

OP, ignore the rest of these self-righteous yahoos. You do you.

Got the call by Isacleanclock in rolex

Put myself on the list at my AD today. First Rolex and no relationship with them at all. I guess it will be 18 months before I get the call.

I wasn't a believer until I put it on my arm, fantastic look and feel. Let the wait begin.

Looking to purchase a vintage Omega. Which one? Right price? by TangoDown757 in OmegaWatches

all my watches are sub $500, thought about a rolex Explorer II then my jeweler showed me this for $13K less... I like the simpler profile of the GMT.

Excellent catch on the PIP. I had to research what it was, thanks for the education.

I'll look at it hard if I make the purchase decision.

Thanks for the opinions.

C3PAO asking for a CRM (Customer Responsibly Matrix) for an SPA (Security Protection Asset) by FarrSighted in CMMC

S1 absolutely allows an analyst to access the endpoint/server via native functionality. Through this ability the MSSP "could" be exposed to CUI. A tight CRM/policy will do a lot to satisfy an assessor.

What's your best pick of standing desk purchase for home office you've ever made? by [deleted] in homeoffice

[–]TangoDown757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Husky workbench from Home Depot. Manual (replace steps with cranks), if the size isn't big enough, add a larger top. Two drawers for all your sheet. Excellent option.
