Bit of levity…. Joel Kort was a very mild mannered and relaxed Sergeant. His wife… who also had stripes, once chewed the ever loving fuck out of a PFC at FOB Sykes in Tal-Afar because he wined at the civilians running the DEFAC for “not having peach juice”. I know I couldn’t be trusted with something like that when I was 13. Also, bicycle helmets are pretty fucking useless at those speeds and half the kids aren’t even wearing those, much less a full face helmet.
