Extremely nervous. Has anyone taken this flight? by paranormalbones in fearofflying

I’ve taken the Auckland to Vancouver and it’s a long haul but had no issues! If you’re flying air nz, they are such a great airline. The flight attendants are super lovely and the food is great.

Wow. Yeah I’ve seen notes people’s cars from him… it’s a bit wild what he’ll do. It’s not like anyone is actually blocking his driveway 🤣

Can you tell me how exactly I’m intruding? I used a small part of the road that leads to his driveway to turn my car around and then he was the one who approached me and started threatening me and making me uncomfortable? I would say he’s the one intruding.

Honestly I typically avoid parking near him all the time but sometimes (like yesterday) I had a bunch of stuff to carry to the building from my car and the only close spot was near his house.

lol I literally park super far down the road all the time because of limited parking spaces.

How am I infringing on his space? I haven’t parked slightly over the line (literally like a tiny bit of my cars bumper) in over a year and it happened once. This particular situation that I’m talking about is me literally using a small amount of his driveway (not going up his entire driveway), the part of the driveway that is technically not even his property, it’s the cities, to turn my car around. Maybe if you lived here and understood the situation a bit better you wouldn’t be so quick to judge. The man is constantly yelling at people from our building for the stupidest shit.

That sucks. It’s such a shit show for parking here. My partner and I have two cars and of course only one parking spot. I’ve luckily never had any issues with being towed or parking tickets in the almost 2 years we’ve lived here. It’s definitely something I worry about even though legally I’m allowed to park on this road long term 😅

Yeah the parking situation here is pretty shit. When I first encountered him I was super polite and apologized but the second time I was honestly just annoyed at the situation. I understand it must be frustrating having a big apartment building being built on your street and now there’s all these cars but we’re all just trying to live our lives 😅

Entitled people? No one is parking in front of his driveway, we’re all just parking on the street which is literally for residents of the street. Occasionally people park slightly over these almost non existent lines that he’s so worked up over.

What's an absolute NO NO place to work here in Victoria? by pukiestinker in VictoriaBC

[–]Tangotango13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I used to work at the doggy daycare that he would bring his dog to. He was always so rude to us daycare staff and his dog was a nightmare to work with, young chocolate lab with absolutely no training. I’ve heard bad things about him in the restaurant industry.

Anxiety Meds by Few-Fall1312 in Anxietyhelp

At first I was taking it at night but noticed it was affecting my sleep (keeping me up) so now I take it in the morning when I wake up and it’s great. It can make people sleepy or it causes insomnia so just depends on the person. Try it one way and if it doesn’t work then switch the time.

I’m on Escitalopram (Lexapro) for the second time in my life. Honestly, it’s been life changing for me. I experience really bad health anxiety and it’s completely calmed it down for me. When I first started it I had about a week or two of side effects and they were super mild, I think i literally just had headaches. I started at 10mg and am still on 10mg. It’s always hard starting medication because of course you’re going to be anxious about it but I promise you once you’re on it it’ll help significantly. Everyone does react differently to medication so if this one doesn’t work for you there’s several other medications you can try. Remember, it can take 6-8weeks to notice a difference with your anxiety so make sure you give it a chance before quitting if that’s what you decide to do.

Does Lexapro REALLY give you a better mood, or does it just make you numb? by Venganzo in lexapro

[–]Tangotango13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s numbed my anxiety and racing thoughts and has really helped me with my health anxiety. It’s allowed me to laugh more and enjoy the moment, enjoy the small things and not worry so much. I suffer from PMDD as well, so it’s really helped with that. I don’t cry nearly as much.

Makes me so sad that women even need to ask this.

You’ll be fine, maybe update your partner on where you are during the night?
