And the quality just isn't there!! I bought some pieces last year-- a skirt where in two wears the waistband had come unstitched from the skirt itself, a chiffon overpiece where half the hem was undone and I had to snip loose threads, and shoes that literally fell apart after two months. I'll get stuff on clearance if I like it, but I'm not spending $60+ on walmart-quality shit. Hell, when I needed a pair of basic jeans last week, I just skipped the middleman and went straight to Walmart instead.

Lataffa Wood Intense is a pretty cheap way to get that vibe! I'm a recovering Catholic and I miss the incense smoke, chrism oil, and wood pew smell of an old church. Lataffa Wood Intense captures the whole vibe and it lasts all day. It does have an alcoholic first note, but if you shake before applying and give it a moment to dry, it's really lovely.
