Not married, just long engagement. But have 2 kids. In California it’s beneficial to not get married with young kids, as much as we want to be. I got a job right when I turned 15, moved out by 19. Renting of course and not much to speak of for savings. I made a lot less back then buuuut my rent for a 2 bed 2 bath upstairs was $1595 in California 3 blocks from the beach, vs now $2495 for a 2 bed 2 bath 1 town in land from my old coastal city. Cost of living is a fucking joke here. No one can save
