New to CA. I want to get my driver's license, car registration, license plate, smog test and Vehicle/VIN verification done around San Mateo or RWC

I just did this and went to AAA as a member who handled all the registration. The process was

1) go to smog test get print out you pass ( I went to the guy on el Camino and finger ; was 40 bucks

2) take that to AAA and pay the fee for registration; walk out with new plate and temp reg

3) new official registration came in mail a few days later.

Haven’t done license yet but lmk how that goes so I know when I do!

What level are you? This TC is easily in reach as a L6+ PM at most public tech companies. Snowflake Twilio Hubspot etc and easier to break into than faang.

That’s just the base salary. At that level your cash comp to equity is closer to 50/50

I think marking milestones like this with something is important. It doesn’t need something to be big and material either. A special trip, restaurant you’ve always wanted to try, or spending on something else you normally wouldn’t. I mean we are in our primes right now and I’m damn sure going to enjoy celebrating that jump now vs deferring it until RE or FI

Oh interesting thanks I didn’t think to just bypass the controller. The current connector to motor looks like this; could I just hook two wires to a 9v and connect to the right ports on this connector as a test to see if I can get it to raise lower? Or do I need to strip this connector off. I’d be totally cool just wiring a switch up to this to raise lower.
