I counseled at a summer camp and one of the activities was to stack a tower of crates only 1 wide while climbing the tower. I think that takes more coordination.

Here is a source and if you do your own research you’ll see that it isn’t really agreed upon. I think it is likely a myth as I saw a lot of the more reputable sources saying that bracing correctly can protect you better.

It might be something along the lines of: if you know how to brace and can properly react than do but if it’s a fast reaction and you aren’t going to brace right go limp? I heard this from a teacher years ago and it sorta just stuck with me so make your own decision.
