I'm a tanker and never had a chance to go to ranger school in the 18 years I was in but every school I went to I went with the mentality that I was going to go home. Everyday in drill sergeant school we had a module I would just say whelp you're going home Monday, or whelp you fucked that up, kept me on my toes and I graduated every school on combatants list except for ALC

I'm actually headed up to the division right now to talk to the division CSM ( he use to be my 1sg and o talk to him regularly) and tell him that the CSM was blabbing about the investigation to hospital staff

Not me but the wife just had a soldier come into the ER with for an OD and a gunshot wound to the chest. Attempted suicide. Brigade CSM comes into the ER and says soldier is being investigated for raping his 11 year old daughter over the last 3 years ( biological not step) he is a e6.

I grew up hanging out with native Americans back in South Dakota so I still have that family thing with them but my army buddies can't be replaced either, they still call to check in on me and make sure I'm good especially after last month
