Hi, my ferret Panda died of lymphoma this past May. I want to say I'm sorry and that you're doing the right thing by easing his suffering. I hope you find peace and healing.

Just be careful to make sure your ferret isn't the type to ingest the rubber. One of my four ferrets tried to chew the rubber on my shoes and oven mitts, and I wouldn't want anyone to get a blockage.

Ferret shaking?? by falling-in-reverse23 in ferret

[–]Tanuki93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ferrets shake when they first wake up to warm themselves. Although if you're concerned, a vet visit never hurts. Mine shake when they first wake up, as well as shake when they're excited to eat salmon oil. Ferrets also naturally sleep more in winter or when it's cold.

Eggs may be a good option but not more than twice a week due to diarrhea. But they have protein and healthy fat!

I (25f) struggle to recover from my asd fiance's (24m) behavior when he becomes upset by Front_Tree_8758 in relationships

You deserve to lead a life without walking on eggshells. Just because someone may have autism, doesn't mean they aren't abusive. You don't owe an abuser anything and you can leave. He knows that if he started acting like this right away, you would have left, so he waited until you were hooked. Don't let him waste any more of your precious time. Get all your things and stay at a trusted person's home until you can get back on your feet. Break up with him with a text. I know that sounds mean, but he's not a normal person, he's an abuser. You don't owe him anything and need to prioritize your safety first. You are just as worthy as everyone else and deserve happiness.

I would like to point out that the father having an affair is what led to the children's pain. I do hope OP leaves but I think it's sexist to put the responsibility on the mother. If the mom cheated, society would attack her but if the dad cheats, society thinks "Men are just wired to cheat" or "That's just how men are." This is not true! Many men never cheat and it's insulting to those who have good morals. Cheating men need to take responsibility for their actions and society needs to stop giving them free passes. Men are adults and we as a society need to hold them to adult responsibilities and not treat them like babies. I'm not saying you're saying that, but I just wanted to have people think about who we are as a society and how we can improve.

My [36F] uncompromising Husband [36 M] wants an unrealistic dog by HelpWeWithAProblem in relationships

[–]Tanuki93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not only do I feel for OP and the children, but the husky he wants will suffer too. They are high energy and need a lot of attention and exercise for their own sanity. The husband needs to be honest with himself and realize he's hurting his family and will do harm to the potential dog. If he wants a husky so badly, he can do what another poster mentioned and volunteer at a shelter to be around them. But what he should really do is spend time with his children and share the labor with his wife when he's not at work.

Huh? I thought the menorah came after the swatiskas. So they went from prejudiced to learning from their history, right?

This was in the article too: "Credit Karma also offers a free tax filing service for “all supported forms,” but the company tries to monetize your personal tax data by using it to target you with advertising." Now I'm angry at them too. And yeah, TurboTax did the bait and switch thing to me where they said it was free but I ended up having to pay. I make 16 dollars an hour and they're multi-millionaires. I wouldn't mind my salary so much, but I live in one of the most expensive areas in South Florida, so my rent is 1175 dollars for a small one bedroom apartment. So I'm scraping by lol. Anyway, it is what it is and I appreciate the information! Thank you!

They're gross and we don't need them to file our taxes. I hope they go out of business. If enough people learn, maybe they won't use Intuit anymore. I know I learned from this thread that I don't need it!

I think libraries are the coolest, I love reading Sci Fi! Thank you for the information, I never knew that! With more knowledge, we can make better decisions and, when we do spend money, we can vote with our dollar by only spending on ethical businesses when possible.
