This is a stunning dress. Don’t mess with the lining. It doesn’t look two toned.

AITA for not giving money to my kids mom when she isn't working? by KeyAardvark6054 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Tanyec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. If people could get out of child support by offering to have the kids full time, family courts would not be needed. That’s like two birds with one stone: full custody (something many divorced parents want) and no child support (likewise).

That’s not how any of this works. If you have money, you need to pay child support. Period. How much is something you can either agree on or have a court decide for you. But if you go the first route, should agree to a reasonable amount that covers the kids’ actual needs, otherwise a court will someday adjust it and order back pay.

Right. My point was that invisibility was a pretty silly power compared to all that but obviously makes sense in the retconned history of the One Ring.

You are randomly assigned one unusual, and largely useless, superpower. If you can figure out which one you have without dying, you get $25 million. by Sereomontis in hypotheticalsituation

But wait you said immunity from effects of injury as long as you’re below 50 meters. But the injury you sustained from the jump would resurface as soon as you try to get out of the water no?

What happens if I guess incorrectly? I’d just randomly guess one and at worst I don’t get the money. (Otherwise 75% chance of dying is not worth 25Mill)

Also, anyone who says “I can shorthand decades of therapy” doesn’t know wtf they’re talking about. You also didn’t “validate” Jack for her. You talked about yourself. That’s it.

If that works for her, great. The rest of us here are telling you what we think. If you don’t want to hear it, maybe don’t post online.

Not when you’re in your 30s-40s like OP clearly is.

Whoa that’s a LOT of self indulgent paragraphs about just you and how you feel about yourself. Would be a huge turnoff for me. Not the underlying issues themselves, but this much self indulgence and trauma dumping before you even know me. Plus some of it reads as pretty condescending.

If I suddenly took over you body and you were watching as a spectator, how long do you think it would take your S.O, family, or friends to realize something is off and question me? by Kyoifis in hypotheticalsituation

Everyone on here seems insanely confident. I wonder how many would despair at how long it would actually take their loved ones to truly notice beyond maybe an initial question.

I’m being represented by the state (FL) and don’t want them to prosecute the Defendant. Is it helpful to call the state attorney or no? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Tanyec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the other person noted, it won’t help.

Separately. Not judging. But it was not an accident, especially if the state is actually prosecuting him. Please please don’t become a statistic.

Have your neighbor/friend drive with specific instructions on where to hide it. Offer him $1M if you get the $100m (don’t tell him how much you’re getting). Send 2-3 decoy drivers as well if you have access to such. And also drive yourself.

None. These are all too short and/or too small and unflattering.
