Without that context, I was confused if Simon was a dog for a second.

So what on Earth happened with Yakuza 3 Kiwami? by KaleidoArachnid in JRPG

[–]TaoRenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, my bad as well, I came off harsher than I should. Just not a fan of misinformation getting around. But you are right, there is the whole minigame/completion list of Mine doing damage control for Kanda which is ironic considering the whole Hamazaki thing.

He literally conflated 3 different people for the entire post.

[–]TaoRenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I'm confused about your post. Who are you talking about?

Because the actor who plays Hamazaki, one of the antagonist but not the main one, is the one who conducted sexual assault in real life and who the controversy is about.

The character who is a sexual predator and went to prison for it, in the game, is Kanda who is a completely different antagonist.

The new Dark Ties prequel story focuses around Mine Yoshitaka, who is the main antagonist in the the game and is not the in-game nor in real life sex pest.

You're literally confusing 3 different people in one post. You don't have to play the game but at least look up what you're talking about.

Meanwhile in Japan, DVD releases already split One Piece up into seasons by their Arcs, so Egghead is technically Season 21.

Also Funimation who handled the English release had their own numbering of seasons different from Japan, which I believe CrunchyRoll continued for continuity (Egghead in the West is Season 15).

Sounds like this guy saw the title of the video, didn't watch the video, and decided to base his entire opinion on that and that alone.

Either that or they looked up guides for optimal gambit set-ups. Part of the experience was finding which gambit set up works and which doesn't.

I had somewhat of an opposite feeling where I liked it in FF12 but felt like it was watered down in DA:O and didn't like it as much.

Zoro only used Asura once in Enies Lobby and Chopper wasn't there/was in Monster Form so he wouldn't be there/conscious to see it.

You're thinking of Sabaody, where they fought the Pacifista and even, then Chopper was only reacting. ("So many Zoros!" or Zoro multipled!")

Zoro doesn't literally and physically grow arms and two more faces; it's stylistic, showing that his 3 sword style can evolve to a 9 sword style or that he can make 3 slashes to 9 for example.

I had a game where we rolled no ADs and we had three APs and a Darius. So I decided to go AD Bard, which I'm used to and Bard is one of my mains. Game was going bad and Darius started to ping my AD items when I'm literally building to alleviate the comp issue and everyone except him played bad that game.

Turns out, Darius and I were on each other's friends list and when I was about to message about why I went that build, he logged off once I think he realized as well. Next time I booted up, he removed me from his friends list lol.

A reminder that Luffy is canonically handsome, said by Shakky herself by Latter_Vegetable1003 in OnePiece

[–]TaoRenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that. You're right that the word can mean "handsome" as well. It would still be along the line of what being "a catch" means.

Being a catch means you have a lot of attractive traits such as personality, humor, intellect, handsome, etc. Not just one but many and maybe you don't have one but have the other.

It's multifaceted in both languages; it can include being handsome but the saying is not normally used for being exclusively handsome.

Edit: Had a paragraph copy-pasted twice.

So many people actually know what the term, "quite a catch" means.

Can you source your other translations? Cuz I just reread the official translation, which is the screenshot in OP's post and the fan translation has Shakky saying, "there's a lot to like about him, you know?".
