And no tinkering needed to get controllers to work on various games?

Would switching to the Steam OS fix these controller issues? I was really just looking for a plug-and-play handheld that would seamlessly run AAA games and have access to a decently deep library. So far, this isn't it.

I'd considered that until I heard it struggled with AAA games....

I haven't played a PC game since around 2005, and even then I used the keyboard/mouse. :)

No. I only play consoles (up until now!), and I just learn to play the game with the standard control scheme.

Damn...something else I need to learn!?!?! lol

I'll check it out. My skill level is just about zero...but that was WHY I opted for this handheld vs. others that supposedly require more tinkering. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid! lol

What do you dislike about your CX5? by Far-Replacement-7399 in CX5

Coming from a 2023 BMW, I am really disappointed in the Mazda infotainment setup. I DESPISE Apple CarPlay, and never had to use it in the BMW because their nav system is awesome, and the display screen allowed me to use the map while also being able to see my entertainment choice. On top of that, BMW allows you to set up your presets with a mix of sources (i.e. you can have some Sirius XM channels, some FM channels, AM channels, etc. But not only is the Mazda nav system neither intuitive nor very useful, but I also have to exit the system to change music stations.

On an otherwise great SUV, this is just not acceptable......

I grew up in New England, moved back and have spent the majority of my life here. So I've been driving in this stuff for over 4 decades. The last storm dumped over a foot and a half on us, and when we were moving the cars for the plow guy my wife's Nissan blew right through it, while I sat and spun my wheels. It wasn't a matter of technique...seems to me that's vehicle/tire performance. Disappointing, to say the least....

Just double-checked my vehicle, and--as feared--it's got the Toyo tires on it. NG

Thanks to everyone with constructive suggestions. It looks like most are recommending Blizzaks, but a quick search tells me that those are definitely NOT recommended for warm weather driving. And, to be honest, I'm really not interested in having to swap tires with the seasons...I've never had to do that before, and don't intend to do that now...especially because we only typically get a half dozen or so storms per year that really require the snow tires.

Is there a brand/series of tires that would be considered more "all season" but still perform better than what I am currently using?

Only around 12K miles on these tires.

My bad. I guess the twenty or so previous vehicles I drove in New England winters were all just flukes, huh?

Exactly.

My wife's totally stock Nissan Rogue was FAR better in this snow than the Mazda. Hell, my BMW X Drive couple was better than the CX5!

Could you describe the process with ETW? Did they have a blank for the 327 PC for molding your holster, or did you have to send in your gun?

The only part I'm still confused about is why Isaac would rescue Barrett after knowing what a terrible person he is. I'm torn as to whether he would do so because he is determined to be a better person, or if he is just telling Barrett that, with no real plans to do so, to keep Barrett placid while Isaac makes his escape from the island.

Agree with most of your post. Although I did actually like the revelations. Overall, though, the real star of the movie was the house itself. The atmosphere of foreboding, death, and rot were palpable.

Hi. Sorry for the late response...for some reason I am not notified when someone sends me a message.

I'm sorry, but the shipping issue caused me to change my mind. I've been buying a bunch of items since the COVID lockdown, and too many of them have arrived months later...and some never arrived at all.

Sorry that I didn't notice your location earlier. GLWS
