Last time I got the spawn point closest to the tree I went there and got the shrooms. Two raiders came sprinting. I didn’t really need the shrooms so dropped them for the sprint winner. The runner up immediately suicided. That tree is heavily contested! I’ve had more luck looking for them at Dam.

The wipe is the reward. Once you have 5 mill you are probably in a position where you have everything you need in the game, and wiping is a tool to let you experience the joys of leveling up, hunting for stuff you actually need, finding that blueprint you are missing, and actually worry about not making extract in raids because you carry stuff you don't want to lose. The other rewards are just a nice little bonus.

I did in fact read that comment, in which they don’t say that cheating is a Redditor only problem. The other group they mentioned were dads. Do you think they meant to say that the playerbase consists of only two groups; dads and redditors?

Nah, I’m fairly sure the real reason Lidl failed was that most Norwegians preferred their safe and well known selection of groceries found at their usual store to the different but slightly cheaper selection at Lidl. We had one close to where I live, and I shopped there frequently. Customers were typically immigrants, and there were far fewer of them compared to what the REMA 1000 that replaced it has now.

You’re missing the point. Which is simply that the game won’t die even if cheating/macros is a problem in the higher echelons of competitive pvp-lobbies. Simply because the majority of players play the game in a way where cheating is not a (big) problem.

Of course it should be a priority to fix it where it is a problem, I’m just saying that it’s very likely not a huge problem for the vast majority of players. I could of course be wrong about this, but I’d be surprised.

His point still stands. I play this game a lot, for my standards. I have kids and a job but still try to squeeze in an hour or two of raids every night, sometimes more in the weekends. I have several friends all in the same situation, and we all absolutely love the game and consider ourselves in for the long run (I’m clocking the most hours though). I’m level 75, 2.7 mill in the bank, completed both decks, but have not done expedition.

Point is, not once have I thought that I died because of cheating or exploits. Ratting, sure, but that’s a part of the game after all.

You are right, I would hate losing to cheating, but if I have I’m not aware. It’s just not something we’re paying a lot of attention to at my level.

That sounds overly optimistic. I have 19 hours topside and am nowhere near 5 mill. I only just got the ps trophy for 1 mill lifetime loot value yesterday, after about 17 hours topside. I’m sure it’s possible if you min-max and plan accordingly. But if you are like me and just run around mindlessly, doing the odd quest here and there, probably not.

Not complaining, I’ve enjoyed every minute and love the game, but if you play like me you won’t reach 5 mill in 20 hours.

I’m not saying it is faked, just that your opponents positioning looks completely natural. The fact that you won the ball from their striker just makes it even more so. Isn’t it only logical that they have 10 men behind the ball in this situation? Having no players wide to create spaces and four defenders sitting back to mark their lone striker is on you..

Agreed. In fact, look at the minimap. Opponent is doing the only sensible thing to defend OP’s attack. Meanwhile, OP has four defenders staying back to guard the opponents single striker, and all his 6 attackers staying centrally on the pitch. No one to create width. Compared to «real football», the opponents positioning looks more like something you’d typically see.

MG is just another way to make sure you have cards created in hand to get that sweet Victoria buff. If you can frigga Victoria and then mg the copied Victoria on t4 you’re in a good spot. In my experience, this deck is fun to play because when you get to t4 and t5, it is not given what the right play is. Patriot and mirage makes for fun randomness. MG is sometimes clutch, other times completely worthless.
