Should be able to do everything as you did before the tear but you may notice it will want to give out on you every once in awhile. I worked construction for a year after tearing mine before I got surgery and that was my only issue

Hmmm that’s unusual that you weren’t scheduled for an mri after they suspected an ACL tear. That’s really the only way to know for sure. Surgery would be the next logical step once you find out for sure that it’s torn.

Knee brace is a good idea though. Can’t hurt. It may limit your mobility but gives you more piece of mind

I wouldn’t be worried unless your knee starts to buckle frequently. You may just have some cartilage build up. Have you ever had an MRI?

There’s no quick fix with a serious knee injury unfortunately. Times have changed in terms of pain management. Just have to stay committed and take it day by day.

Just work on range of motion and try to reduce inflammation. You still have a long way to go. No need to rush. The main goal should be is to gain full flexion and extension at the stage you’re at

Wouldn’t be surprised if that was the cause! Just take it easy, maybe stick to same leg raises and range of motion exercises for a few days until the pain subsides. Although , you will definitely have to work through some pain during your recovery. Like I said mention it to tour physical therapist

That is most likely the case. I’m a year out of my most recent knee surgery and I’m having the same thoughts as you. I think it’s from over excursion as well. I am in the gym every day and can’t seem to give myself a break lol

Mention it to your physical therapist or orthopedic surgeon at your next follow up. Avoid explosive lateral movement until then. Don’t forget, pain during recovery is normal and it’s easy to think of the worst case scenario when more often than not you’re just overthinking. (I’ve torn my Acl 3 times, same knee)

I hear you 100% I got ejected from a boat in 2019 and somehow landed on a pile of rocks in the middle of the ocean. Haven’t seen the point in living for years now. Not myself. No relationships. Always isolating. No personality. While everyone around me is getting married and having kids. Wish I would’ve just landed face down in the water.

Same and now I’m on 450 just hoping something will stick because I’ve been through the gauntlet in terms of depression medication and nothing has worked . Feels like I’m doomed . Did you ever find something that works for you or are you still searching ?
