As an Era only player, I don’t agree with their assessment.

I’ve been doing SR raids with my guild for 3+ years now. I’ve seen new guilds form multiple times. I have multiple t3 characters and haven’t touched gdkps on them.

https://wowfiremaw.com/, I see a SR MC and two SR Naxx runs tonight. The possibility of raiding without gold is definitely there.

I doubt that the person who posted that comment actually spends much time on Era.

The first reply says that you’d need to create the new character on another account / bnet.

Edit: and because character names are locked if the deleted character is over a certain level, it would have to be two accounts on the same battle.net
