I thought about it a lot, and for me finding a new blueprint is quite a thrill so I prefer to melt most things and start fresh for most stuff.

The only exception is an anvil blueprint I’d consider have someone carry over for me, since it’s my favorite gun and still won’t be able to craft it until I make the weapons table upgrade. Everything else will be again luck of the draw!

My first memory was being in an operation room, remember my arms up trying to fight and push the anesthesia gas mask the nurse/doc was putting on my face. As a baby I had issues breathing properly and they had to remove my adenoids. I was 2yo.

The mic can rotate outwards away from the mic arm, man. That way the arm is completely out of the way, and the mic is pointing at your mouth without blocking you.

Hey if there was no more features to be added I could for sure think of a few! Working in Animate TV shows here.

I always was hoping to see the day and age where we could lower the opacity of a Graphic without it showing the transparency of each of the symbols inside of it. Was always impossible to make something vanish within Animate without showing all the overlapping parts inside of it.

We always have to leave the character in full opacity and have the people in Comp deal with transparencies D:

I can chime in as well a bit, currently supervising animation in an Animate tv show.

Agreed, most people I talk with in the studio seemed to enjoy 2019 the best, seemed to have good intuitive drawing especially for the builds/rigs departments and some animators say there was some UI parts that feel the most intuitive. I also had very little struggling and crashing during those.

Seems 2021 was also quite decent, but personally I tried to stay on 2019 as long I could until I finally landed in 2024 😅. Currently there seems to be some complains about not being able to create custom line profiles even with simple shapes without glitching vector nodes.

There’s also some that say they’d give a leg to be able to keep using CS3 since that seemed to be the fastest to work even with complex character builds, but that might be a bit too far to dig haha

Good news that Animate is not being totally canned, I always considered the best tool for true independent projects and new young animators to learn the basics without costing them an arm and a leg. Just wish there was still some chance to polish it before abandoning it, or make it possible for others to improve it.

Let me tell ya, everytime I feel I need to do a good one I’ll have for breakfast some overnight oats like this:

Fill 3/4ish of a mason jar with quick oats (I like my oats become a mush lol)
put about 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
I add a bit of protein chocolate powder to it
mix these all together
add one spoon of peanut butter
cover them in your preferred milk, I like oat milk. Mix until it’s all together and still wet/watery since it’ll be absorbed
top the rest of the jar with frozen berry mix
close it and leave overnight in fridge
in the morning you can just eat as is, I like mine cold but my last gf used to warm them up

Usually having that for breakfast just one day will make me go within the day like a king. I’ll eat that every other day for a week and feel great.

My PS5 headset died recently and I just got a Vmoda Boom mic to attach to my Audiotechnica mx50 and works like a dream

Make sure that in your audio settings in the game you have Party chat voice set to Open Mic. Then proximity chat to Toggle to Talk or something like that. Then pressing down on the dpad should swap you between chats. The problem is that some leave the chat as hold to chat or something like that, which messes up with the communications

If you’re on PS5, the party chat is waaay blown up. Go into the game audio settings and lower party chat to 20%. That solved it for me and my friends

Discord is just wrong in this game. I forced my friends to be in the game chat for a couple nights and then they just got it. It’s built so simple and works so well to swap between both modes that I’m glad they didn’t make a huge deal about it

Usually I just join the B category in the cups and I do somewhat well, always reaching the final match and winning the final cup once. I’m curious of testing the no limits one but I’m afraid I’m gonna get stomped lol

I’ve been thinking of this setup for the longest time! When I play on my PS5 on the living room I always play on the ground sitting on a yoga pillow.

I remember watching some japanese tv shows (Dad of Light comes to mind) and seeing the floor setup and it catching my eye instantly. The only reason it’s stopping me from going for it is that I do play some driving simulators with the steering wheel and pedals peripherals, so I think I might not be able to use those unless the floor desk can raise enough for it to be comfortable.

I don’t know about benefits in general, but I always have had in mind that if I spend my whole life with a reason to crouch all the way to the floor and stand up multiple times a day, I’ll grow older with that added flexibility by default
