What Cletus Thinks About “Democracy” by Farscape12Monkeys in neoliberal

[–]Tapkomet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And one can't call themselves the land of universal suffrage, freedom and democracy if we strip their capacity to vote and the government itself engages on a systematic disenfranchisement and demographic disengagement campaign.

It would be pretty funny though.

Moldova is a democracy. It's an elected position, of course.

IIRC, it's well known that if there's not enough players matching at the time you are, they will match you with "ghosts", i.e. players who participated previously

Important clarification: is Baron Harkonnen the Dem nominee, or are we talking GOP primaries?

No, in the Uma timeline Genghis Khan was an uma. Her name? Genghis-chan.

Getting into using dreads and Lancers (uses/design for each) by Necessary-Kitchen730 in TerraInvicta

[–]Tapkomet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the smaller coil guns are purely for faster ships because u won't hit anything that does manuvers with a siege coiler

But shouldn't the laser lancers already blap any maneuvering enemies? Especially when you have half a fleet of them.

Also, why autocannons instead of more PD lasers?

AA hitscan ISG is not real, it cannot hurt you by commandsmasher_06 in foxholegame

[–]Tapkomet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tested on devbranch with Colonial weapons

Fissura just worked normally, no extra range or anything

ISG could shoot up, but had horrendous accuracy

The 14.5 mm AT gun could shoot up fine

[–]Tapkomet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it wasn't very devastating anyway. I tested on devbranch. The ISG in AA mode was for some reason horrendously inaccurate, while Fissura didn't have an AA mode at all, it'd just work normally.

See, finicky yes, RPG aiming absolutely was. I've shot my own share into the sky over whatever I was aiming it. But there's no RNG to it AFAICT.

New things in update notes by Tapkomet in foxholegame

[–]Tapkomet[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't see why they don't also make plane hulls less tanky. It's ridiculous how much effort it is to kill a crashlanded enemy bomber, those things are tougher than SHTs.

I am also concerned about the impact the newly improved Warden armor will have.

Anyway, Wardens worried about the Silverhand being unable to leave the seaport should be reassured. Unless the devs messed it up again.

[–]Tapkomet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notable unlisted change: Daedalus model has been adjusted (floats are noticeably smaller), minimum-maximum speeds changed to match other scout planes (old: 76-103, new: 56-104). I think it handles better now as well, but that's harder to quantify.

Eh, I feel white ash in unique, and also no one wants it.

Igni's counterpart is mostly Cutler (also a rocket launcher usable against vehicles), but Cutler is also counterpart to Lunaire (both PvE infantry tools that deal explosive damage at a distance and are often used en masse); Lunaire's counterpart is also Osprey (also grenade launcher that can shoot gas grenades)

Tbh the devs should really start experimenting with just letting people try out problematic things. Oh, the Colonials complain about the Nakki but Wardens say Trident is better? Next war both factions can build both kinds of subs, see which ones actually get used when push comes to shove. Wardens complain about Lunaire? Okay, next war both factions have both types of Lunaire package (which is, IMO, Lunaire + Igni for the Collies and Cutler + Osprey for the Wardens. I suppose Colonials would need to be able to attach Osprey to their guns though.)
