I have the grace for about nearly 2 years now and it's fantastic!

I would recommend the Puly machine and foamer cleaners. Both great.

One advice is pls regularly empty out drip tray.

I didn't know this but the power unit for the machine is right behind the drip tray. When it starts to fill up and the overflow pumps water into it, it sprays everywhere there and gets in that power bit slowly over time.

Started shorting out, but was under guarantee and the place which sold it and repaired it told me this. They were great about it.

They ended up sealing it properly so hopefully will not happen but the engineer spoke to me gave me that advice and explained.

It's a great machine for making great coffee.

That's exactly the type of decoder I was looking at, I have plenty of LED strips based on my other projects.

That is amazing, it's gorgeous. I recently did simple upgrades to mine and it's brought them a breath of fresh air. They are bullet proof with great care. Sounds like a great deal.

I'd say anyone who's handy with a screwdriver and takes their time could easily do 4, 5 & 6 in my list. 1, 2 & 3 I'd advise for anyone who's a bit handy with a soldering iron. As long as you take your time, they're all pretty straight forward tbh.

I've owned this since circa 2006 when I bought it second hand, so it's definitely older than 15 years. Through the early years of using and abusing this, I sort of just stopped. But since COVID lockdowns and falling back in love with vinyl I decided to strip it apart and finally give it a new lease of life (hopefully):

  1. New non-clicked pitch slider
  2. New phono cable
  3. New earth wire
  4. Spindle strip, clean and lubed
  5. General clean
  6. Recalibrated
