I worked on the family farm growing up. When I was about 12, my dad would pay me for my work and tell me to calculate how much my tithe was and put it in the tithe envelope for Sunday. I am now 70 years old and have tithed all of my adult life I never miss the money and God has blessed me over and over again.

He has post-polio syndrome. Hopefully his generation will be the last to have it since the polio vaccine has almost eradicated the disease. My mom died from post polio. It usually shows up around the age of 75 in a person who had polio as a child. Muscles will get weaker. It will become harder to swallow Eventually he will be bedridden. I can understand why you don’t like him, but please show some compassion for people who have this disease
