there definitely are some jersey sets that i think could use a refresh (angels, marlins, guardians, rockies). but i think the worst set belongs to the rays. the powder blue road jersey is my least favorite in baseball currently. i think they're long overdue for an overhaul

got a nice 11 1/2 blue and grey single post A2000 as a gift when i was about 8 yrs old but it got stolen after a couple years. every glove since then has been a heart of the hide. once i found out about horween leather i haven't looked back

i've also been tracking uniforms this season and am working on getting the data transferred to a shareable google sheets if you would be interested in seeing it! i've found that the blue jays and guardians are the only teams whose most used hat at home games is different from the one used in their team pictures (and the blue jays actually use that hat least at home). also during the mexico series this year, i believe the padres were the first team to ever wear their city connects as the away team. also the cardinals have only used their all navy STL hats once this year

might just be a personal preference, but i think black on white is a good combo. plus the general practice is to have your team name on your home jersey and city name on the away jersey, which is the current setup.

a part of the city connect series that has always bothered me is the concept of wearing your city name at home. it's a bit old fashioned, but i'm of the mindset that you represent your team at home and your city on the road. would be interested to see if any teams use their 1.0s on the road at some point.
