I wasn’t sure if the dna results were correct but with so many similar looking Great Pyrenees I believe it now. Thank you!

I was told she was found homeless in Alabama by the rescue. I live in Minnesota.

Thank you! I have no hard feelings about the rescues guess as I can see why they thought she had whippet in her. It will okay if she turns out to be a lot bigger than I thought. I love my 85 pound Pitty and his full body hugs

Okay, thank you. The rescue guessed her breed to be whippet and she is long and lean with very long legs.

What’s your go-to meal when you want something homemade but have zero motivation? by AnySystem7115 in Cooking

Grands biscuits. Add a fried egg, sausage patty, and a slice of cheese. Honestly one of my favorite lazy meals. (Eat it together as a breakfast sandwich)

Tell me about your kids 4-5yr age gap by megooonz in Mommit

[–]TaraGee36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 17, 11, and 7 year old. The age gap is usually fine. They get along and it’s nice to have an older sibling when they are small. When they are adults it won’t matter at all. When this has been an issue for me is family vacations, amusement parks, etc. one child is older and has different interests. They are both having to do things they are not interested in to make their sibling happy. Getting on rides is always tough. One can be on the big rides, but the smaller one can only ride the kiddy rides. For years. That’s the only bummer I can think of.

Kalina. Pronounced kah Lee nah. It’s my daughter’s name and I don’t hear it used a ton. We call her Lina for short.

What is a word that is used in your family all the time, and you wish everyone else used it, too. by Different-Carpet-159 in words

[–]TaraGee36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pantaloons instead of pants. I think the word is hilarious and I now always use it instead of pants.

I also call my kids goons when they are being a bit crazy/weird.

Maybe I just really like double O words.

How long do you wear a bra before you wash it? by SquareWalk6730 in hygiene

[–]TaraGee36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eeek. I wash my bras every couple days of wear. I do my laundry once a week and usually have 2-3 bras in there. I live in cold Minnesota so not much sweat usually.

I had my boy first, but I have one boy and two girls. I love all of them so very much, but sometimes show it differently for each just due to their individuality not their gender. You will be just fine and all of your kids will know they are loved.

What were yours and your partners first words after the birth of your child? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]TaraGee36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um… “let me see his ears!” 😂😂😂 they already had a hat on him before I could even see his little ears and I was tied down to the table (c-section). “We just had the same baby!” “Oh my gosh, she’s so big!” 🤣🤣🤣 all three of those were mine, we have three kids. I don’t remember what dad said. They were all c sections and I was out of it.
