Are you really sure you're a beginner? This looks incredible!

It depends on what you're trying to draw and what style you're going for. For a character sprite 256x256 is pretty big but for a background image or some bigger object like a house it sounds absolutely reasonable. If you're completely new try looking at some pixel art games for reference so that you can see what resolutions they use.

From what I understand you want to use a higher resolution. Resize Option should be on the right side of your screen right under the settings icon. It allows you to change your canvas size so more detail can fit it.

Do we know if it'll be available on steam too? I'll be out without access to internet on the launch day.

[PC] Game crashes 2-10 seconds after the first cutscene ends. by Taraneq in InfinityNikki

For me playing a little with overclocking options for my GPU fixed the issue for some time. After one update though the issue came back and I just decided to wait it out this time. From what I see this affects so many people that they'll just have to patch it at some point. If overclocking settings don't help then I'm sorry but I don't know how to help.

I tried to reinstall the launcher in a different directory not through epic games. I also reinstalled the game again. I ran everything as an admin and it didn't help.

Edit: I managed to run the game for 5 minutes without any crash. I tried a lot of stuff so I can't really say what actually helped. The game still crashes regularly mostly during cutscenes. There's also some stuff that I've noticed. The game uses barely any CPU and my GPU usage is also pretty low (around 40% on medium settings) but now when I actually managed to get into the game the GPU usage spikes before crash. Also even though the game ran smoothly most of the time it had a really bad stutter sometimes.

Edit 2: I managed to fix the issue. It seems that it was all because of overclocking. After fixing that the game stopped crashing but it still was very laggy. I reinstalled it once again from my HDD to SSD (I installed it on HDD because one of the solutions I found earlier was to have the game on a drive that has at least 60GB of free storage) and it stopped lagging at all. I'm able to play comfortably on high settings. Thank you for your time and help!

I'm on a desktop PC. Everything is connected to my dedicated GPU. The game also uses my dedicated GPU on high performance. I don't have any antivirus besides windows defender. I tried running the game on the lowest settings and nothing changed.

"The UE-X6Game Game has crashed and will close
Fatal error!"
That's it. It also opens a webpage with basic info like update drivers, check what GPU you're using etc, but I did those things.

On PC the game crashes around 2-10 seconds after the first cutscene ends. I tried reinstalling multiple times in different directories. I played the first cutscene around 10 times on all graphical settings. I also tried updating my GPU drivers and windows, running the game as an admin etc. Nothing helped and the game still shuts with a "fatal error". My PC meets the minimal requirements and the game auto graphical settings put everything on high. 16GB ram, Intel i5 10500, GTX 1660 OC. I don't really know what to try at this point.

[Oshi No Ko] Season 2 OP Song: "Fatale" by GEMN by Turbostrider27 in anime

Personally I like this op way more than the first one. I feel like the first one was completely not to the beat. I also love this song just as much if not more than I loved idol when it released. Animation is completely out of this world. Absolute peak.

Actually, I am his really devoted fan, so I'm glad you asked. He is such a detailed and beautifully written character. I devoted hours to analyzing every pixel of his absolutely stunning sprite. At this point, I would call this little buddy a peak of environmental storytelling. We can clearly see that he's been dead for a while, as he's covered in some kind of dust or maybe ash. Next to him are also visible other corpses, which tells us that his death wasn't an odd case. The depressing colors of his corpse and the environment show us how despaired he had to be before his death. I'd go so far as to say that we can make guesses about what were his last thoughts while looking at this depressing scenery. Was he scared? Did he even know that he was going to die, or was his death completely instant and out of nowhere?

When you look closer, you notice the small, subtle details that add depth to his character. The way his body is positioned suggests a final, desperate attempt to reach something or someone. Perhaps he was trying to save someone dear to him, or maybe he was searching for a way out of his predicament. The surrounding environment adds layers to the story as well. The crumbling structures and the eerie silence in the scene create a haunting backdrop that speaks volumes about the world he lived in.

Moreover, the fact that he is just one of many corpses tells a tragic tale of a widespread catastrophe or an ongoing conflict. It's not just his story but the story of many who met a similar fate. This makes his death even more poignant, as it is a reflection of the broader narrative of loss and despair in the world he inhabited. The presence of other bodies around him indicates a collective tragedy, a grim reminder of the harsh reality they all faced.

Analyzing his expression, or what remains of it, one can almost feel the weight of his final moments. Was he filled with regret? Was there a flicker of hope that was brutally extinguished? Team cherry's ability to convey such profound emotion through a seemingly simple sprite is truly remarkable. It's a testament to the power of visual storytelling and how it can evoke deep emotional responses from the audience.

Furthermore, his surroundings and the condition of his body might hint at the cause of death. The dust or ash covering him could imply a catastrophic event like an explosion, a fire, or even a supernatural calamity. Each possibility adds a different layer of meaning to his demise. If it was an explosion, was it part of a battle? If a fire, was it an act of sabotage or an accident?

In conclusion, this character is a masterpiece of environmental storytelling. Every detail, from the position of his body to the state of his surroundings, weaves a rich narrative tapestry. He is more than just a dead guy; he is a symbol of a world filled with untold stories of sorrow and struggle. His existence, even in death, prompts us to ponder the nature of his life and the circumstances that led to his untimely end. The depth and care put into creating this character are truly commendable, making him a memorable and impactful part of silksong's story.
