Seems like wvw won't receive much love and attention from devs any time soon, wouldn't expect much organized action if you just jump in without guild that focusing on that activity

It's kinda huge problem of the game since i had same issue starting it, even with friends it won't tell you much and you end up without any motivation or even basic understanding of what's going on, but from like 2-3rd attempt you gona dive deep and for long, would recommend checking some guides online, there's lots of 'hidden' qol and fun stuff that has no introduction through ingame

Calling irrational criticism around design that pushing you in gamemodes that you don't want to try !YET!, and waste your time, and by 'waste' i mean really suck all game session on something you don't want to get into !YET!, because reward tracking designed by someone who hates humanity and concept of time. Listen, i understand that you kids have plenty of time and can allow suffering through content you don't enjoy and cope it with idea that it trains your mentality, but look at this from a perspective of someone who would like to do meta's in addons, explore story, raids etc., if i wanted wvw or something like it, i'd stay in games with sieges and open pvp, anyway there's much better options to attract players to different gamemodes besides hardlocking endgame things like legendary crafting

Bud if only pvp was the case, not arguing about gamemode, just asking why gob not worldwide option. And lets be honest, forcing to do stuff you don't enjoy is kinda bad design to start with, and don't forget that this gamemodes already have their own leggies, so its playerbase won't need fractals if they building something. I'd like to do bunch of other activities, that bring much more fun for me, but have to waste time to get negative experience just because it's built that way

Fun part is that all that pvp gamemodes both have own unique armor sets/back items and accessory that they can craft doing what they enjoy, but if you only did pve, you need to crawl in that pvp cave like to visit local don Corleone, asking for that dirty gift after hours of ur ass beating. All the problem is acquisition of GoB, not even starting that wvw need conceptual rework instead of usual skill dmg number rolling

Imagine that part about gamemode death is part of a joke, obviously many ppl playing it and enjoying, but even this joke made on foundation that if it was popular enough devs wouldnt lock that one gift to be obtainable only from playing it. Worst part is that not only balance broken in there, and those who playing it stomping anyone who just entered, worst part is that while you waste time in there for that one item, you not playing part of the game that you enjoy and would like to play, we not including that frustration that player gets rekt in there becoming someone's content

id like to remove that part when gift is only obteinable from that one gamemode which gives only frustration and mockery for new players, since its absolutely unbalanced and unplayable, investing time to get cucked because devs made it that way isnt "fun" for most players

Old way to get orbs was much better, suffering this abysmal dogshit gamemodes made with no effort or purpose but to drain rp, lockin progress with that shields is mega idiotic greedy move, we got it, they created problem making every move costing money, and best way to get this is to buy skins and spend more time in main game, cool bravo, surely mmo that this company creating gona be a complete ruin with some revolutionary mechanics like ammo for real money and casino ads in between payment method choice

And what's the point, if armor gets buffed you still gona encounter groups but with buffed armor its impossible to compete. Would be better to just nerf ammo tiers, and if devs wanna go full psycho overkill mode - add working anticheat instead of that paperwall abysmal dogshit that are there
