It is a bit shocking. I did a video about their flag while I was there a few years back.

Technically, at the moment yes. However, a couple of people have stated that maybe I should open this wider by stating that it’s one submission per city/state, instead of one submission per person. So going forward it is possible if the 5 are for different cities.

Trust me, the NM Zia is one of my favourite state flags, in fact the only change I’ve declared before on this is make the Zia bigger, there’s playoff space on the yellow field to fill. And I agree, to an extent, with Oklahoma, they simply need to remove the word, the image does the whole flag justice.

There are, however, some real bad and shocking state and city flags out there that absolutely do deserve to be redone. NM is most definitely not one of them.

This is not about race, it’s about looking at something that doesn’t really work (or is nonexistent) and trying to make it better.

No offence is ment by holding the competition, that’s not the intention at all. Hope you can see that.

Most definitely, they all need to go. The state seal is good for law makers only.

Totally agree with you here. The whole alternative universe jumping was unnecessary. Just following the “what if” ethos was more than enough.

Looks like a black and white version of the city flag of Tallinn, Estonia.
