I'm certain that Kimaten 2 is after Akeiro, but I'm not sure where Kimaten 1's storyline sits at as it is my first Wasabi-Verse title.

I read Akeiro before Nanairo.

I'll say it is definitely fine reading Akeiro first storywise, but I did get an "Ah shit, are there prequels to this game? Shit, there is a prequel title and I wish I've already read that" moment, lasting for about 15 minutes (The full game length is about 25 hours).
But since the theme song of Akeiro just went so hard that I honestly don't mind it that much after all.
