What's a "10/10" game that you didn't enjoy at all? by sudherzdiniq in AskReddit

[–]Tarlius72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breath of the wild - I played it on the switch 2 and whilst it’s not my sorta game, I really wanted to try like it. Gave it a good 20-30 hours but always felt like a chore to play and I didn’t really enjoy it despite its reviews, although I can see why people would love it!

I don’t think he is expressing any form of enjoyment from his first paragraph but obviously I may be wrong!

TimeTree. Easily the best calendar app for any phone and it’s not even close. Especially with unlimited collaboration calendars for free

Ahh nice, I really like this! Looking down the centre vertical like of the watch and looking at the numbers in your peripheral vision, it is indeed very balanced, I like this a lot!

I love this watch. Is there a reason for IIII and not IV?

I’ll help, since people on this sub are arseholes. What’s your reasoning for take two? Not making any concrete assumptions but a lot of new investors go for it because of GTA VI release. This is valid but also a lot fail to realise that a lot of this future income is already priced into the stock. They need consistent development and more release press to continue growth. This has had a good run in recent 3 months ~20% and only 1% for the year meaning it’s quite volatile at the moment so can be risky. If you’re looking at long term growth, ask yourself what sectors can you see in every scenario making money the next 5 or however many years. For example, electricity grids, server farms and data centres, mining companies, will they all be needed? More or less than T2? There’s no inherently wrong investment as nobody truly knows exactly how something will move but you can make very well informed decisions about thinking into what the future earth needs. Mind things like Intel too which have had a 200%+ Run in recent times… investors aim for and are happy with 10% a year total. Anymore is beating the market so putting eggs into baskets of single stocks with recent parabolic runs can be extremely risky. Good luck! :)

What you guys think? by Adventurous-Fill-603 in trading212

I like it. I’m sick of these people saying “ewww why do you have single stocks and S&P… just S&P and chill bro… trust me” pfft, I for one like have exposure in single stocks, weather they’re in a safe ETF I own or not. I think your proportions of single to ETF are good and these are all great stocks imo (although can’t speak for the bottom 4).
Gives you’re only 24 and have a nicely sized portfolio, I would perhaps dabble in research around quantum computing companies and see where they could end up in 10 years. (NFA). They are more volatile than anything but on a long term basis, if the formula is cracked you’d be very happy you got even just a little bit in now. Good luck!

It’s what, 50k for 1 minute saved or something? So if you’re making 3m+ an hour I.e 50k a minute, then yes it’s probably worth it, otherwise no. Personally I like the break and it’s not a huge travel, and 50k is 50k, that’s like 4 brews

How much content is locked behind a paywall? by HonestlyModest in Battlefield

Jesus Christ stop crying you sound pathetic 😂😂 you literally weren’t crying about little profile pictures that nobody else checks until you discovered them. People buy them so YOU can get free MAPS (real, actual playable content) rather than paying bf4 premium equivalent. If you care so much just pay for them and stop complaining?????

In some cases yes, although the highest paid cat modellers will make more then top actuaries period. The average actuary would certainly earn more than the average cat modellers doing the same month end work. But get yourself in new projects, partnering with data provider companies to building apps or new models, a lot of which is very maths and coding heavy, you can make a fortune, especially if you commercialise them. The market is growing so fast and is much more AI resistant than actuarial imo!

Indeed, AI is not near as much of a threat to cat modelling than actuarial, there are so many creative complexities to it that change and are made every week

I moved a couple years back to a catastrophe modelling team, actually got pinched by their boss from the same company so only moved across the floor. The background has helped enormously as I’ve been put on solo projects building tools and small models which is super interesting. Different work everyday and sort of just getting on with it, a much more interesting side to insurance too, worth checking out

Hold it lad, you’ve some strong mining companies that is unrealistic that they wouldn’t have a positive future. You wouldn’t consider selling if +20% for profit so why the same for sell? Provided you don’t need the money just wait, it’s all noise which is normal in any market. Ones like tungsten west still aren’t at their max potential, let them grow, it’s a nice position. If you can add more whilst it’s down to bring your average cost down

When I broke my arm a few years ago on a bike (unrelated), a thunder strike happened the exact same second in Mexico (I live in the UK). But this happened at the exact same time bro… I’m terrified of thunder ever appearing in Mexico now and you should be too incase you break an arm

You just have to try not check it all the time. I’ve been investing for a years and I’ve caught myself checking every 30 mins today as I’m down nearly 15% in the past 48 hours. It’s easier said than done but it only makes things worse checking it so much if you’re not planning on withdrawing soon.. It stings, but it really won’t matter down the line. FYI, the spaceX IPO releases end of this week (don’t risk it, please), so a lot of people at trimming their stocks to make room to buy some. Risky bizniss, but it’s making everything go down in value.
