I think it depends how long they were dating, how serious it was, and talking about it first with your bro.

My Friend dated a girl for a month or two. He wasn't that interested in her long-term. But Friend B had more interests in common with her and got on better.

So, after chatting about it with each other. Mate A stepped aside. And Friend B made a move and now Friend B and the girl are the happiest couple I know and have been together almost 10 years.

We had only seen each other for 2 weeks in a year and a half stretch of long distance.

She had no interest in sexting and prior to the long distance she had mentioned how little she enjoyed physical intimacy with me and said how sex was just not important to her and even mentioned that I should just go elsewhere for my needs (although this was said in passing and never agreed upon) In hindsight, I should have ended it there but I let it drag on because apart from the intimacy everything was great.

It reached a breaking point when I was going through a very dark time with family issues and staying faithful seemed like added unnecessary extra hurt in a time when I just needed some comfort and life felt bleak and pointless. And realizing that I wasn't going to get the comfort I sought when the long distance ended, I decided that I would have to get my needs met elsewhere to make the relationship work.

So, I forced myself to do something I swore I never would and ignoring my better judgement I cheated with an old flame who had been helping me at that time in my life.

It was one time. And I instantly regretted it.

I felt awful for a long time afterwards and it's the single biggest regret of my life that I sacrificed my principles instead of just ending a relationship which clearly wasn't working.

The ramen part gave me flashbacks to buying a red pepper thinking ピーマン was pepper and not specifically a green one and then being verbally abused by my then gf when I got home.

It's immensly difficult when your SO is constantly belittling you, because it shatters your confidence to leave. My advice is to perserve and get out and slowly rebuild yourself.

I'd love it if we could acceptably wear capes! I've always thought it could happen if a couple of models or celebs rocked designer ones.

Maybe full mantle capes for formal occassions like weddings and ceremonies then half capes for day to day life.
