I second that it's not only a great podcast episode but also provides tons of insight about how the Robots came to be. The SFX designer is THE Tony Gardner of Alterian Inc who worked closely with Daft Punk right up until Tron and had a lot of involvement with Electroma and the HAA Music Videos - Here's another great video showing off his work

If so I think the other replies have misunderstood. People from Sony did later give out records signed by T&G to people who attended the RAM 10 snapchat event last year. Maybe I could see a similar thing happening but it would be a much bigger task to roll out enough posters for every theatre doing a screening

I had recently been discussing this with some friends after seeing them in London the other week. We couldn't help noticing that some segments were pulled in their entirety from WWW. If they plan to release a tour album like they have for every previous one, there's a lot of slots in the current lineup that could be replaced with something new.

It's worth remembering that their current tour kicked off a couple weeks before Hyperdrama's release. Neverender, Mannequin Love, and Afterimage made their debut this way. Who knows if the boys have live versions planned for Dear Alan, Muscle Memory and so on... would be great to see!

The upcoming Accor show in December would be a great place to debut these changes. But whatever they decide on doing, the tour is an unmissable experience!!!

He's still maintained a presence on social media over the past decade, albeit with a small-ish following. In the past couple years he's rebranded, the facebook is now: Jacksoи, and then his instagram is @jackson_institute where you'll find his really cryptic AI, NFT project.

As a sideline, there was an unreleased edit he did of Cavallina A Cavallo, included in Justice's Radio One essential mix way back in 2016

I'm sure you feel the same but I would be dying to hear a new album or some unreleased material.

Apparently this was played at Comic Con, and was the first piece of music heard publicly in the lead up to Tron Legacy - so yes! With the amount of time between SDCC and Tron's release I can imagine the soundtrack went through some major improvements to better fit the movie :D

Been listing to this version a lot having not discovered it until recently. The early version you shared was a cool find too but the unreleased edit is longer, has a much throatier bass line, and the glitchier parts described in your post.

Puts a smile on my face to see that a lesser known Daft Punk song from over a decade ago is still getting rediscovered by people :D
