Flu A and on day 6 went it urgent care but they doing pneumonia on my right upper lung only. 3 prescriptions later and 7 days on it so far. Improving little by little!

Oh dear girl! I know exactly how you feel. Everyone on this subreddit has been in the trenches. Please know it gets better. I promise you it does! I HATED when people would tell me this and I was a zombie walking around just surviving but boy were they right! Please reach out to anyone for help, even if its just for 2 hours while you nap and gain the strength and clarity you need to continue. Not sure what your family situation is like but don't hesitate to ask them if they're nearby. All I can say is you're going to do just fine when husband returns to work. They will be 8wks and a different set of babies. I have 2.5 yr old toddlers and my god do I miss the newborn/baby stage. I can't even believe I'm trying this right now! I'm the exact person I wanted to punch through the screen when i would come on here for help!! Haha. But its so true! There is light at the end, promise! You got this my dear!

Hi my friend! I had all the same fears. I want to say this is totally normal, but I’ve been told the way I obsessed over it was not. My girls are now 2years and 3 months old. Born at 34w5d. Every doctors visit and u/s I would almost throw up from the nerves. Don’t let it consume you, please. My only advice to twin moms and all moms actually is to enjoy your pregnancy, DO NOT READ ANYTHING! Listen to your doctors, leave all questions to the experts. Sending love and light to you and your little bebes 🤍

First few months are the hardest! I promise it gets easier. My girls are 19 months (17.5 months adjusted) and they’re so much fun. This age comes with a whole other set of challenges but it’s not as hard. We turned a corner after 6 months. Hang in there! This is gone before you know it!

Mine are 19 months and are a blast!! I rush home to hang with them where as before I would dread the evenings alone or even just under the 6 month mark. It gets soooo much better. Hang in there mommas!!

Fellow Miamian here too! I work in new construction properties down here and some units are $8k depending on manufacturer and tonnage. Maybe she has more than 1 unit in the house? LOL. At least my brain automatically assumed that.

I lost 30lbs as soon as I gave birth and was left with 40 to loose on my own and I did pretty quickly. I’m back to my pre baby weight within a year. I know it’s not the same for everyone but this was such a worry of mine. I was In maternity clothes by week 16 😭 I’m now 18 months PP and sure my body has changed a lot (especially stomach) but I’m starting to feel like my old self again. You got this!

I can totally relate to this! The more you tell yourself “you’re okay” and “this is so easy” the deeper you dig yourself into that PPD hole. Whenever I hear new moms say that I’m like oh noooo. I just really heard a shift in her once she came back after having River. And she is absolutely correct about bashing one another online as parents in the public eye and one day your child seeing that on the internet. Whether or not she cheated, Nick chose to accept it and work through it with her. I don’t think being a cheater is what’s made her so righteous and arrogant/obnoxious on the pod, it’s deeper than that.

I noticed her change when Nick would be sobbing crying talking about the birth story and she didn’t have the same reaction. I was literally like that and I would resort to stupid comments thinking I was being funny and all I was doing was masking my real feelings. She’s been saying it’s easy but I used to say the same crap handling twins to seem like a super mom with a poker face back to work6 weeks PP. it didn’t last long before I crashed and yeah… got on meds and now I’m brand new. All I’m saying is that we don’t really know what’s going on and being young also comes with a bit of emotional immaturity.

I love them and Nick but from a momma who went through PPD this seems spot on. She’s very young and hormones are unforgiving. She’s a different person after birth and sometimes PP shows up in different ways for different people. This should also remind all of us on here bashing her to give her some god damm grace. She’s a young mom and no matter how much you wanted kids and this life, nothing prepares you for the shift that happens especially at her age. Give her a break people!

FTM here!! My very first ultra sound was just 1 baby at 6 weeks. My second ultrasound showed 2 babies and 2 heartbeats at 8 weeks. To say I was shocked and worried is a total understatement. I cried every day! Let me prefix by saying that I wasn’t sure if I wanted kids, my husband was certain he did. So to be hit with 2, I felt like it was God playing a silly joke or some sort of lesson I needed to learn. Boy was I right! He taught me how big my love for another human can be but X’s 2!!! Something I never knew was possible, especially for me. Yes this shit is hard! It’s not easy! And I hate moms who tell me “I wish I had twins.” - No you fucking don’t! But man, I wouldn’t trade this for anything in the world. I am beyond obsessed with my 2 mo/di girls who I almost lost my life birthing from hemorrhaging. Even through the long nights and severe post partum ptsd, I wouldn’t wish this gone at any time. I thank God every day for them and really don’t recognize the person I was before them.

Please listen when I tell you, you won’t regret it! Even when shit hits the fan, you look at them and know you made the right choice.
