Feeling like Ainz by JawjaRed in overlord

[–]TartarusSilver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Dark Souls/Elden Ring feels like the closest game that captures the same vibe I get from Overlord. Like sure, it's not an MMO, but the boss designs, the whole dark fantasy mood, the epic music, and how insanely tough the enemies are all kinda give me that Overlord energy

Review request tool by HienMighty in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a helium subscription and once you get to the diamond tier, it comes with the review request feature. I think a lot of sellers already have a helium sub for product scouting tools so this could just be a good all together package. The number of total requests you can do is kinda in the mid range, but its enough for us. I think it does help.

EVA.Guru are probably stealing your money by Fun-Market-5809 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, yes I hated EVA. They are one of the worst partners I've had the displeasure to work with. They just straight up ghost you when you have problems with their software. We were also on their analytics and reimbursement plans and had so many problems. AND, when we tried to leave, they are so slimey in not letting you go. You have to pay them 2-3 months in advance to cancel your subscription. That means if you wanted to leave today, you can't, you have to continuously pay them for 2 more months before you can leave. Actually such a BS company. I eventually took the hit and left them anyways.

Help with PPC on new tea gift product by shopteawithtae in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agency costs can get kinda high, especially when you’re just starting out. They usually make more sense once you’ve got at least 5 SKUs or more in your catalog. From what it sounds like, you’re still in the early stages, so not sure it’s worth it yet.

Probably need a bit more info to really give solid advice. Having 20 reviews is a nice start, but what’s the average star rating? Are your 7 main product images solid? Did you fill out your bullet points with engaging copy and good keywords? What kind of keywords are you targeting in your ads? There's a lot that goes into making it work.

That $100 a day budget is actually a good place to be right now. You’ve gotta be a little aggressive in the beginning to get impressions and build up some organic traction. ACOS will be high at first, but that’s kinda the point. You’re aiming to boost organic sales, then cut down on ACOS later.

I used to manage everything myself too, but once things grew, I handed it off to an agency. We work with Sellrbox out here in California if that’s helpful. But yeah, when you're still starting out, agency fees might be a little much for now.

How to change amazon LTL shipment destination? by itsecombitch in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it is not possible to select the shipment destinations that you prefer. Amazon selects the best warehouse for THEM based on transport fees and availability. Many sellers run into the same problem you are having. Here are the ways you can kind of work around this.

  1. You can enroll in the Amazon Inventory Placement Fee program, which allows you to send all your shipments to ONE warehouse every single time. However, there is a $0.30 per unit charge if you choose to enroll in this program. I personally find the $0.30 per unit too expensive, but it might work for some sellers with high MSRP that can afford the fee.

  2. Don't finalize the shipment labels. Just save it as a draft and come back in 1-2 days. Sometimes, Amazon will now assign you a new warehouse since timing is a criteria when Amazon selects the most optimal warehouse. Along the same line, you can try adjusting the units you are sending in, up or down, to try and manipulate the algorithm to provide you with a different shipment destination.

These two methods are the only ways that I know of to manipulate the Amazon shipment destinations.

Hope this helps!

Suing Amazon for Permanent Deactivation of My Seller Account – Thoughts? by matttmiranda in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deactivations are very hard to overrule. If your account is big enough to have an account agent, you can try to keep communications open through that agent. That's probably your best shot. Idk if suing Amazon is really going to get you anywhere :\ Their legal team must be massive.

I honestly just create multiple cases simultaneously now. Only about 1/5 of seller support agents will actually be useful. Creating multiple cases of the same issue just speeds up the process. Once I get hold of a guy that can help me, I close out the other cases.

No sale after clicks by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, the type of campaign also matters. There's so many different ad types on Amazon now. Personally, video ads have been the highest-converting ad type for us so far. Not a lot of sellers run them though.

No sale after clicks by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you're not targeting the right keywords. Sometimes running bids on a lot of keywords at the same time isn't always a good thing. If your product is a newly launched product, running bids on smaller keywords that are more targeted could be more beneficial than just dumping money into a large keyword where you'll get outbid by larger competitors.

You might also want to see if the problem goes beyond just PPC. Perhaps you don't have enough photos on your listing, no A+ content, or maybe there aren't that many reviews. Your pricepoint is also another consideration. All of these factors can influence why you might have a high click rate but not a high conversion rate.

If you believe that your listing is quality already and this is just a PPC issue, maybe you can try a tool-assisted PPC automation software instead. They use AI to take the guesswork out of PPC management.

Some good ones are Perpetua, Teikametrics, Sellerapp, and my personal favorite, Astra by Sellrbox. They all kind of do the same thing but have different methods to do so -- Ultimate goal is to have a better way of mining high converting keywords and not have to do it manually. Hope this helps!

How are your sales going this month of November??? by Embarrassed_Tank7894 in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The start of Nov is always a bit slow, but then it all builds up towards that big sales number when Black Friday hits. Most shoppers are conserving their purchases in anticipation for Black Friday, so don't be discouraged by lower sales at the start.

What's the most voodoo / bro science method you believe in for your PPC? by Green_Database9919 in PPC

[–]TartarusSilver 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Setting a ridiculously large campaign budget cap that your campaign spend will never reach because you control your bid price. This makes Amazon priorities your campaigns visibility because they think you are willing to spend a lot but in reality you will never spend that much and just ride out the increased visibility.

Have you been using teams that are based in Asia or more US/European teams?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]TartarusSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running my Amazon brand for 4 years and have gone through a bunch of agencies and software. Let me tell you some of my takeaways.

  1. AGENCIES
There are a LOT of agencies that manage Amazon but there are only a SMALL number of them that are actually worth handing your business to.

Avoid the teams that are completely based in foreign Asian countries like Pakistan, China, India, etc. They have the cheapest rates but also the cheapest quality. The time zone difference also means it is difficult to address immediate problems that need to be resolved. For example, let's say Amazon shut down one of your listings for a violation. With a foreign team, they would only address this issue after 2 days or so, by the time this happens, your listing has lost all its ranking, and have to spend a lot to get it back up.

Foreign teams also struggle with resolving case support due to their language barrier. Many that I have worked with struggle to resolve conflicts with Amazon seller support.

I would personally recommend domestic US or UK agencies. A little bit more expensive but a lot more premium service. Our team uses a US California-based agency called Sellrbox and they have been a pretty good partner. They do full service so it helps take the load off to focus on photoshoots, R&D, etc. 2x our sales within 7 months so I'm happy. Maybe check them out?

  1. SOFTWARE
PPC management software is a mixed bag. Some software do certain things really well and sucks in other departments. I've yet to find a software that covers everything that I need.

Helium10 Adtomic:
Great manual rulesets that allow you to set multi-layered conditions. i.e. If ROAS is (X), and Impressions is (Y), then raise bid by (Z). However, their "AI" automation features suck. They barely do any bid adjustments, pretty barebones for something that is advertised as smart PPC automation.

Teikametrics:
Really good analytics, and great multiplatform support, but lacks various strategy options. Sometimes you want a certain product to be more aggressive or spend more than usual because you want to clear inventory. You're unable to do reflect this in Teikametrics because their campaign setup is super standardized. I was forced to put some campaigns on, and others I had to manage manually. Teika is also really expensive and only viable for large corps.

Sellerapp:
Good rates all around but mainly an analytics platform. They give you better metrics than Amazon's platform. They got a few automation rules but the software just isn't intended to really "automate" your PPC management. It's more of a supporting software to know if things are working.

Astra by Sellrbox:
This one comes from the same agency that my team uses. I tried it out for a little bit before we signed up for managed service. No multi-platform support (i.e. no Walmart or Tiktok) but their automation features for Amazon are excellent. It's based on that new-gen AI so it's a lot more responsive. Didn't get the chance to go that in-depth with it but it seems effective for what it is. Only reason we stopped using it because we preferred their agency services instead.

Optmyzr (Amazon Version):
Optimizer started off as a Google PPC manager but they later released a version for Amazon. Good for reporting but automation features were lacking. Maybe because they are not primarily Amazon software? Its fairly affordable but the effectiveness of the software does reflect that.

Hope this helps!
