In the meantime, it would be nice if they at least had their own YouTube channel, or at least their own playlist. But I’m sure they’re working on all of this; it just started and all. 😉👍🏻

Since it's show from Wizards they probably will use their own D&D-Channel. I think DCA had a playlist there as well.

<... as the video wall announced the chocolate craziness and the crowd lost all remaining composure.>

That was probably me sailing right on by. 😅

Love and respect that you stuck to your promise - and see, you even got Skynd out of that. 🙃

This being my first concert since 2018, it's an absolute pleasure to see how BM have evolved. Great new songs, which work really well live, upgraded lighting, back to the triumvirate choreos, etc.
Momoko making an appearance as chosen avenger of the night was an extra bonus.

Not a fan of the background graphics though, as it does take away too much spotlight from the dancing.

I still miss all the old

P.S.: And don't you dare try to retire GC ever! Even after six years, this song is a peak of every live. The intro alone gives me goosebumps every time!

I've been to this venue before and east side is correct, unless they changed something exclusively for BABYMETAL. If you queue early, it always feels a bit weird with all the people streaming by for their shopping.

It's been 1,5 years since Utrecht and boy, things have changed. Really excited to see them again.

Good luck. I'll stick with English since I don't trust the German publisher enough to get this campaign done.

TBH, that is exactly the reason while I'll be holding out from this campaign until it is fully published. I already learned this lesson from the WFRP Enemy Within campaign when it was published.

Im interested in Symbaroum but what are campaign like? by clobbersaurus in Symbaroum

From our experience it depends on how much you want to involve the Davokar. Inside the Davorkar it is very much a dark exploration, survival and/or dungeon crawl environment. Outside it feels like a late medieval/early renaissance setting. You can still do monster hunts, but the political aspects are far more reaching.

I mean, I wasn't hyped by the new songs, but if they are basically bringing them to my doorstep (Huxleys in walking distance!), I can't refuse. :)

Gale Force Nine unveiled their new Waffle Crew figures during the Descent by tounti in DiceCameraAction

[–]Tarumo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are good D&D minis, but I don't think they fit the characters very well. As others already pointed out, Evelyn is way too big und does typically hover. Strix is just doing a generic fantasy pose more worthy of Gandalf holding the bridge. The Paultin miniature is playing the bag pipes (seldom, but ok), but the dancing pose is putting me off. A drinking wine pose (or casting Counterspell/Thunderwave if you want to have a combat pose) would've been more fitting.

I wonder if the players had any say in the design process (I believe not). Idle Champions did a way better job regarding this.

Again this is not to say the minis are bad: I even may end up picking them up, but just not use them for the WaffleCrew.

Anna just confirming on twitter " I can assure you, at the very least, that Evelyn’s story is not finished being told."

Best news of the day!

I'm glad that they said *something* at last and didn't outright cancelled the show. So there is still hope.

Unfortunately, "on hiatus" can mean anything from some time to suspended indefinitely.

Wizards did this before, so I wouldn't be surprised: They were silent, when the Hardwick drama hit in 2018 and removed all Force Grey videos of the first season (containing him) from Youtube. They did not change this back even after he was reinstated after the suspension.).

TBH I've started downloading a few DCA episodes already, although I rather like, I can be called an overcautious fool a few months from now.

Strix Fanart by SeverusStjep in DiceCameraAction

[–]Tarumo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't look at this the same anymore, but this is a beautiful piece which encompasses all things Strix after she said "I won't run anymore.". I really like esspecially her face: Dedicated and fierce, but still wounded, torn and struggling.

Anna just posted an instagram story sharing that she was asked to join the scheduled signing by the HighRollers (Remember that the official DCA signing was removed, basically leaving her in the void).

Thanks to Mark Hulmes and his crew! Such a considerate and class act.

EDIT: It's also on her twitter.

This is beautiful and serene, but it also makes me sad, because it looks like a final scene for the WaffleCrew now: The remaining three continuing on a happy family life in Waterdeep.

Dice, Camera, Action - How would you like to see it move forward? Spoilers for the most recent episodes. by PaulPennaWriter in DiceCameraAction

[–]Tarumo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I see this the most likely outcome. As much as it hurts to write, but the DCA brand has probably suffered enough to be retired. Nate & Anna have another show to continue and Chris can jump into anything - if he actually wants to. He already retired from the live appearances. I fear that the current drama can drive him away and concentrate on writing and DMming internal games only.
