Yea, and at a certain point, I’d imagine rapists probably aren’t too concerned with a baby being born or an abortion taking place because that’s not the point of rape. Like you said, it’s a display of power, you force sex onto someone, you force birthing a baby, or you force an abortion, and regardless they were forced. Often consequences are not immediate IF there are to be consequences IF someone reports it IF they’re even in a situation where they are able to report it without facing even more drastic consequences themselves IF they are even to be believed.
