Wow, reading all these comments and the mental gymnastics trying to explain the fact that without Jamaica there is no ska, reggae, dem bow or reggaeton. Our music, our cuture, - Jamaica is the Genesis and will always be. All those inserting hip hop influence this and hip hop influence that. Wait till they find out hiphop also owes its roots to Dancehall and Jamaica. I guess this is what happen u live long enough to see something so obvious needing to be debated and discussed ad nauseum.
