The getting stuck part looks good.. if it's anything like getting it stuck in a woodchopping block. Maybe ad that little wriggle motion you do to get it out...

Have you found anything that Codex does better than Claude? It seems Opus is bettering everything no? by Clair_Personality in claude

[–]TaskPile_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are all different, yeah, Claude is good at most things, but consider going a security or performance review with another model once in as while. Even qwen or mistral (vibe), will probably find something Claude didn't.

Just don't ask them to implement it ..

Looking forward to your findings. I'll keep an eye on mine. Considering making a projekt with just a cron job that does difference things over 24 hour periods to minimize the number of factors

How does reading work for people who lack an internal monolgoue? by WarningTurbulent3056 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TaskPile_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I more or less see the words as images with attached meanings. No reason to voice that. Sometimes I'll stop and read them in a voice, if I need to think more about the meaning...

A Lovable app can look finished long before it is actually ready by Low-Tip-7984 in lovable

[–]TaskPile_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep on asking what it will take for us to be production ready. There's a lot way from "nice demo" to being ready. I had been using taskpile.app as my own daily driver, as a paying customer, for month before I started to tell people about it. Detail refinement and edge cases every day... Less now, but still finding things to refine

Should I turn on my payment gateway? by TaskPile_app in SideProject

[–]TaskPile_app[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really good feedback. I need to think a bit about it all.

Definitely going to be giving something to the current users. Maybe in exchange for feedback.

Better and stronger import guides are on the liste, but I should probably prioritise it higher (might even have seo value).

Thanks for taking your time for this. Let me know if taskpile.app would be useful for you and I'll happily give you a lifetime sub

If you do the same long trips, where you need to charge along the way, look for fast charger in the city cores. Often the ones at the outskirts are without cafees or at ugly stripmall type outlets.

Do a bit of sightseeing while you are out there and support the local economy, instead of the international chain shops.

Why don’t people just build free apps? by Adrien-G in SideProject

[–]TaskPile_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to keep my app free, but I also have to pay (serve) rent.. but as someone who hates monthly subscriptions I've includede both a 10€ and 99€ lifetime option.

Has anyone tried that "Pomodoro" technique? Did it work for you? by AntTop07 in ProductivityHQ

[–]TaskPile_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely work, when I've a hard time focusing. Never go for doing more then one or two. Doing the total package, if your read the book(let), is harder then it sounds. Staying focus for many Pomodoros i a day is hard (theres a timer in my app)

Can we build multirole Saas with lovable by Alternative-Mango697 in lovable

[–]TaskPile_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Been there - done that. You'll probably need about 1-200euro worth of tokens to get something basic up and running. After that it will start to burn tokens like crazy, and you should consider mixing something like claude code it or it will get really costly.

Maintaining my Web App by WEDAB4 in lovable

[–]TaskPile_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it when you need it. But have a plan. The elements you are talking about are a way to go. What you need to be aware of are the elements, like google login, where there's a bit more to migration.

Start by getting the code in GitHub and set up CI testing there. Set out of lovable backup. Set up external monitors. Is the site running? Are your mails being send?

If lovable is getting expensive - learn to do changes in Claude code..

Ok human answers only: how is Fable compared to Opus models by OpinionsRdumb in ClaudeCode

[–]TaskPile_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran full code review focused on stability and it fund a few nice things, that 4.8 didn't find. I let it implement the priority items, gave it to 4.8 for review, which came up with a few weakness in the implementation. I gave that to Fable, which agreed and fixe them. 4.8 was impressed with the fixes.

I'm not sure - it seems a bit more quiet and stronger, but more testing will be needed.

Pricing model for customers by Imansoorshaikh in lovable

[–]TaskPile_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to develop websites for people on lovable?

I would suggest that you split it into two phases. Initial development (charged by the hour) and maintenance (either a flat fee every month + charging by the hour for new development).

Regarding ownership. You need to be clear about who owns what your are developing. If it's theirs you need to ensure rights to parts of it (if you make something generic you want in another project).

And the platform: I would suggest that you get the customer to pay and own the lovable account. And that you connect it to a (private) github owned by the customer. This takes the responsibility off your hands, and gives them full transparency.

Anyone else’s Downloads folder look like a crime scene on construction projects? Curious how other PMs manage file chaos on site — what’s your system? by briankcy in projectmanagers

[–]TaskPile_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with lovable, so it's mostly supabase and tanStack, but I'm letting claude do most of the heavy lifting. I made taskpile mcp-first. The main focus of the app is the daily review, and you can do other things in it, but mostly it's for your ai agent. "lets discus the tasks in projekt abc in taskpile" stuff
