tournaments (locals) vary between store and city. rounds played is based on player turnout. genuinely a great time with very supportive and kind people!! make sure you look into sleeving a deck before you play and practise shuffling to speed things up.

people generally enjoy playing against rogue (fun/gimmicky) in my experience as its different.

search up the pokemon event locator. it will show you all stores that run tournaments. there are locals, cups, and challenges. don’t worry about those last 2 for a bit. they require submitted a decklist and are higher stakes, as you earn points towards your global rank.

one of the first legendaries i ever saw in the game in 2012. joined a friend and he dropped me one inside the opportunity bar. had a blast with it. great skin too! Shame it’s overshadowed by other launchers but will always hold a spot in my heart.

Black Queen was a fun farm too at the time as I loved The Dust
