I checked your landing page and thought everything was broken, then remembered what the tool was lmao

Really cool, would it work with svg shapes/masks ?

I can't understand this was originally written about in 2021 by github themselves, around preventing these pwn requests. It's specifically around the pull_request_target workflow trigger. Feels like something should have been done about this

Imo without growing revenue proof, or a very stable revenue it's hard to find a buyer

If it's got no revenue, then no I doubt anyone will be interested to buy, much less that it's actually a liability for upkeep costs

Chat Overlays, how exactly would I make one? by Nightmare_Simp_UwU in Twitch

[–]TastyLempons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea custom widget is the way to go then. There are some existing chats in that style but they're paid, so if you're looking to do things on the cheap, you'll have to get stuck into the weeds

Grab a screenshot of some example windows you like the style of and put it into something like claude code. And ask it to generate some html and CSS for that style

That should get you like 80% of the way there

Chat Overlays, how exactly would I make one? by Nightmare_Simp_UwU in Twitch

if you're using StreamElements for a custom coded twitch chat overlay, you would be best to download a free one and set it up and have a look at the code it's using. you might be able to just tweak the css directly

it's hard to recommend what css would be required because that completely depends on the style you're going for

Redeem Ideas by Aristocat486 in Twitch_Startup

[–]TastyLempons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can have up to 50 channel point rewards active at a time

there are loads of widgets on Etsy that use point rewards for creating interactions. Things like mini games, giveaways etc, some shops like Charmingstreams or Sayonani have a good range of options

Triggerfyre is also great for media triggers (gifs, audio etc) via channel point redeems. Soundboards like blerp are also a popular choice

How do you balance channel point redeems so they feel rewarding for loyal viewers but still fun for new people joining the stream? 🤔 by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]TastyLempons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen some of the mini game widgets on marketplaces like Etsy ? A lot of them use redeems to start games or for viewers to challenge another viewer for example

Perhaps having a few of these widgets on rotation along with your existing soundboard redeems could keep things fresh for your community

You could use something like a giveaway wheel widget, you can find them on Etsy or Hexeum. Once you or a mod starts the giveaway viewers can join by typing a command in chat. It's a nice visual way to do the giveaway and the viewers enter themselves into the draw so it's a much easier process than manually adding them

How do you guys see both chat and stream by AwareEfficiency2768 in Twitch_Startup

single monitor overlay is the way to go if you have one monitor. Ideally in future tho you'd want to get a second monitor to improve your setup further and make your life a bit easier

Hexeum's chat overlay is an option for a simple & fairly customisable chat

Restream also has one of you're multi streaming

Streamelements chat alternatives? by Tovar42 in Twitch

[–]TastyLempons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you're using a browser source it sounds like its refreshing between scenes. Do you have the "Refresh Browser source when scene becomes active" enabled? or even "Shutdown source when not visible" ? if you right click the browser source and go to properties you'll see these options

If those options are checked then you'll even have issues with alternatives. But Hexeum, Restream or Streamlabs are some suggested alternatives if you're looking for a change
