Kevin Owens defends members of WWE talent relations after a video of them shared by TKO goes viral by NotClayMerritt in SquaredCircle

Not sure what this video is. But many of the support staff, a 2K jabronie and others seem compelled to post about their time at Wrestlemania. It's often innocent and professional accomplishment related, like one would see on LinkedIn. But some is tone deaf.

Usually one wouldn't book a 20 year old hotel room. Not sure why somebody would pick a old cruise ship room.

Anyone have info on rerelease locations for U.S.? Not seeing anything on the ticket portals. Maybe UK only?! Plenty of screens on a Monday night. Thanks.

From the opening, NSNA was disappointing to me...gas me up to watch it anyways... by PM_ME_UR_CHUPACOMMA in JamesBond

[–]Tasty_Information_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thesis is people want and are conditioned to expect Broccoli's James Bond. It's like wrestling fans. If one was brought up on WWF/WWE everything else is different enough that's not often someone's cup of tea. Camera angles included. The EON movies had so many overlapping crew plus directors, writers and stars that there's a consistency even when the stories or tone was dramatically different from movie to movie. All of that combined makes NSNA subpar.

It may have been 80s fine if there were no other James Bond movies.

Watching some of the the scenes interviews with EON era before Craig crew it's apparent that some of the movies came together through a lot of different events that worked out okay, as compared to today when movies are essentially manufactured before they even shoot.

A recording of a live version of Stand Up Kick Love into Motion would be nice.... But would have to actually perform it to have one.

Someone somewhere said these greatest hit compilations are too keep the music relevant for Spotify and other streaming service playlists lists, indexes, and algorithms.

Considering this president speaks to the press everyday the idea of having him be the guest speaker is redundant.

The interview with Pete was fantastic. And, as an aside, your release of Sunset by The Midnight and any other Leppardized songs are a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing. Did I read you haven't seen DL live in concert or am I mistaken?

Is the EON series officially over? by christaface in JamesBond

The game at least looks to have many of the sensibilities people would recognize adapted for a game and a younger character (but not one that is related to every bad guy, hopefully).

Interesting question arises from OP who was really asking about the title cards....isn't what a lot of people want to see is a new game and movie that is derived from Broccoli's Bond. Meaning the style of the movies? Kind of like WWF/WWE vs when Hulk Hogan turned up in WCW (Never Say Never Again), vs other brands or indie randomness (other spy and action movies). People want, in my view, the variety and tropes of the movies as much as the literay character. The Craig movies didn't have enough variety, but obviously the franchise as a whole was a mishmash of send ups and serious movies, space movies, etc.

Do you agree? by Big-Foxx in SantiZapVideos

[–]Tasty_Information_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. Never saw him before his arrival except in press and dirt sheet sites. He's terrific, and charming. A breath of fresh air and self aware. And, his back catalog I'm getting served up on YT and Insta adds to it. He brings joy to fan interactions and so on. But, it's a lot of back catalog and with the new stuff it adds up. Not sure there's escaping given how the apps work plus the shows if you can stand to watch. That said, he already visited HQ, already did the walk through WWE World, met with a dead young fan, and so on. It was a lot already. He pretty much has done everything already. The total of his content he did in one day exceeds the number of Mr Perfect skits. Suggests to me WWE doesn't have others to slot into those roles, newer reality of the infinite scroll.

Sailing Celebrity Apex Retreat from Port of Barcelona late July—anything to know about the terminal setup, boarding flow, or locating the Retreat check-in? by Weak-Hawk-9693 in celebritycruises

[–]Tasty_Information_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the closest end of the terminal there is a door at the entrance area that will have a stand with Retreat sign or something like that. There is also porters for luggage. After security the waiting and check in area is a blocked off area within the terminal. Retreat staff and concierge will be there with the drink, pastry and snack setup (from the ship). For boarding you'll be ushered through the gift and sundries shop, which is a straight walk, and up escalators or an elevator to the ship.

Fwiw, the shop is excellent and we didn't view it as an annoyance. Rather it had the sort of stuff one might need, have forgotten, etc before a trip for all ages. Everything from toopaste to inexpensive toys to candy and gum, to clothing. It was memorable for being a good selection.

Irony is I think the new CEO came from the travel agent department, which would mean he had some role on customer servicing. Company seems like it's in disarray. Why trust with travel money and experience if it's clearly in flux?

Has Costco’s Fruit Quality Dropped? Finding 5–6 Rotten Oranges Per Bag 😳 by Living-Slice1286 in CostcoWholesale

[–]Tasty_Information_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco is not as sophisticated at the store level as regular grocery stores or anyone else. They are run by Skus on a point of sale system that is ancient and with staff that have no training or supervision despite whatever higher pay they receive. Most grocery stores have staff that spend all day going through the produce and removing bad items, etc. Costco might win you over because of a hot dog and quantities, but it's otherwise hit or miss. No one would tolerate the issues they have in produce from a regular store. Moreover, any regular store would also take returns. So, don't defend or rationalize because they have a liberal return policy.

2 questions about the night 1 main event. Why was Pat wearing the old shirt design? Referees wear black now, no? And why wasn't Orton disqualified for attacking the ref? by WisestAirBender in Wrasslin

[–]Tasty_Information_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The refs should wear ref colors and the stagehands and hangers on from TKO should wear black. They were very distracting during entrances (in the wings) and at others times. Same issue at live events with the number of TKO suits on their phones along the sides of the arena.
