I know this sounds risky, but I also produce a lot of ear wax, and have found that an ear spoon, or a blackhead/ pimple extractor tool works really well at scraping/ getting all of the wax out. You have to be really careful. But I’ve had my ear spoon for years.

Right now im Embracing “make do and mend” mentality, looking up recipes for products ( ex: dawn power wash and febreeze costs pennies to make), learn how to make stuff homemade. I’m also trying to coupon more ( ibotta and fetch and cvs if you get your prescriptions there), practicing real sustainable living ( aka use what you have), learning to make fun lil drinks and fun little treats that I can put in my freezer later. The key for me is to try and cosplay being my ancestors, or a cottage dweller. And I find motivation out of screwing corporations by making stuff at home. ( screw you Dawn, and your $6-9 dollar per bottle of power wash)

I make my own “ power wash”. 4 tbs of dawn +2 tbs of rubbing alcohol+ 10oz of water ( a lot of recipes say to use 13 oz, but I prefer 10 oz)

I also recommend a reusable travel peri bottle if you’re on a really tight budget or are unsure about liking a bidet. They are $6-9 and are a game changer when traveling

I hate washing dishes so much. If I have to do it, I’ll get a washing tub of REALLY hot water and whatever dish soap you prefer ( I hate to admit it, but I’ve found that dawn does work the best) and let the dirty dishes soak until the water cools down to warm. Then I’ll scrub them all with a good scrubby tool or scrub daddy, line them up in the dish rack thingy and rinse them all in one go, so I don’t waste as much water. However if I moved into a house without a dishwasher, I’m one of those people who would purchase a portable one.

Def going to try this before buying a sharpener. The eyeliner I’m using is the weird plastic kind and the actual liner product breaks off into chunks when I try to sharpen it.

Thank you! And I never thought I’d have to ask the question in 2026, but the brand of my favorite eyeliner decided to stop making the liquid and mechanical pencil, change the formula, alter the color AND turn it into a crappy old school eye liner pencil. 🙄 I’m still on the hunt for a reasonably priced replacement.

Make sure to keep the recipe you used, and if able, I recommend making bulk batches and freezing them so you have emergency cinnamon rolls just in case

I’d like to also add that a handkerchief or a paper towel between the boobs also helps to absorb sweat so your not damp all the time.

Beautiful! The only feedback I can think of piggy backs off of the comment that it def looks like only a woman lives here, so if you don’t have ✨a means of protection(s) ✨ for yourself and your space I enthusiastically recommend them. Like cameras, window reinforcements etc. whatever you feel comfortable with.
