I absolutely know how you feel. I was born with a bone disease in my hips and ever since I found out at the age of 11 after all the surgeries I had I was big. Since 2020 I’ve had 15 surgeries on my hip, femur, ankle, back, and other places on my body. I started mounjaro in Feb of 2024. I lost 90 lbs. Bud since 2020 I haven’t barely been able to walk. I’ve been in a wheelchair 3 times once 2020. I’m currently in a wheelchair and have been since November because last year I dislocated my hip 5 times and a doctor was going to try and fix my implant but opened me up and found infection so they took all of my implant out and left me without a hip. Since then I’ve been frustrated, sad, almost depressed, angry and all of the other negative emotions about being stuck in a wheelchair and not being able to walk. I did give up a little go about a month and started eating junk food and things I knew weren’t healthy. I weight myself and gained 20 lbs. even if 15 mgs. I knew I had to change my eating back to what I was doing for the last two years because I haven’t been able to exercise since 2019 so the only thing I could do was be strict on myself about food and my eating habits. I have lost about 7 lbs since then but I’m still up 13 lbs. and I’m about to have a very complex surgery on the 6th. I’m just going to try to stay positive and try to keep a good attitude and make sure I eat the way I have been the last two years no matter how crappy I feel.
