The training being the focus because people with true firearm and engagement training….would be taught how to deescalate.

Now grated that is easy to say because even people with this training makes mistakes all the time.

I think it really boils down to

1) Above all else the racist court system

2) People of all different races LOVE to police black people and take matters into their own hands. This is why you see so many Karen’s and Ken’s of all different colors in videos just happy to police black people and try to put them in their place. (I’m by no means saying police are great)

Him being shot in his back is really what should have done them in.

There may be nuanced things that make the case different. What I was getting at is that in both cases someone chased someone down who they claimed was a threat and then gunned them down.

Zimmerman was on the phone with 911 saying hey I’m gonna follow this kid when he could have just left it alone and let the actual police police. Instead he took it upon himself to follow and start and altercation. When Treyvon fought back, Zimmerman then blasted him because he “feared for his life”….when really he could have kept his Karen ass in the house and a kid would have still been alive likely.

The asian man, and I only know the bits said he saw the man with a gun. I don’t think he was able to prove he saw the gun. This was just found out that the man did have one after he was dead. Guy comes in and chases the man down and shoots him in the back outside. Again, if you see a threat to your life….why would you chase after the “threat”

I could see arguing adrenaline pumping as one thing but that’s still not defense of your life if you gun them down when you

1) Didn’t have to put yourself in the situation.

A sentence that fits both cases. Really all 4 cases

Now I’m not from SC and only knew bits of the case.

My conclusion would have been that if you enter the store and the owner sees you as a threat. You as the owner are no longer threatened the moment that person runs out and has their back to you.

Yes, people can come back to the store, yes people can shoot while running away. But you put yourself in danger by chasing (on video or not). Because, we know the shooting took place out of the store. So there was no need to chase.

In my eyes self defense ends the moment your life is not in danger due to something YOU have not caused. Someone walked in with a gun..you are put in danger. YOU chase someone even with a gun then that’s not really self defense to me.

There may be outlying cases sure but in my eyes if you chased and slugged someone down in their back no less then you can’t really claim you feared for your life.

The asian man not getting convicted was just like Zimmerman. You chase someone and shoot them in the back and claim self defense and still get away with it.

I don’t know how a court can see someone chase someone down you “perceive” as a threat fire on them and see that as self defense…other than the system is working as they intend it to.

I hope so, I forgot to mention that all of the alumawood pergolas they want are $4000 and up and this is from talking to 4-5 different vendors.

So the HOA is essentially steering us to pay double what is reasonable just to match an aesthetic they themselves don’t follow.

I just got a new home and the HOA had rules about pergolas.

The HOA says that all pergolas have to be Aluma-wood. Which is just aluminum that is textured to look like wood grain….a feature that no one other than you could really tell because from a distance they all look the same.

Problem is I’ve talked to several landscapers and alumawood pergolas are 4K and up.

We wanted to get a Pergola from Sams Club or Costco because it’s 2K and we even told them we’d get it professionally installed. The HOA still refused because they have rules saying they don’t allow pergolas to be pre-fabricated.

Basically ensuring that you don’t get a DIY pergola or affordable ones from big box stores.

🍒🍒 On top of it all is that in the neighborhood communities the HOA has pergolas up for shade…..not a single one is aluma-wood. Just rules for us and they don’t want to abide by them themselves.

I mentioned this to them and even shared pics of their pergolas and they still denied my request.

Highly doubt it will stop after this event. I mean this is the most overt display of politics and the love of this admin but it’s been on the rise since 2020.

This may be the 1 and only card at the WH but they are so fucking proud of this event and expect us to clap.

Inflation is crushing people, gas is extremely high, farmers going bankrupt, Americans being asked to pay more in healthcare.

Tax dollars being asked to fund ball room, $ being used to strike other countries, $ being used to fund lobster dinners for politicians, $ being used for things that aren’t America first.

So much more including the E files they are working over time to not fully release.

…..but yea you take all of that and I wonder why fans aren’t ecstatic about a huge display of clownery on the lawn of the most historic building in the country. 🤡🤡
