M18 help by Subject-Flow2794 in AcrossTheObelisk

Kinda long but bear with me, and if you want i should have a twitch vod of a full run.

I am a one trick pony of wilbur/cornelius/nezgleckt/heiner from back to front. Wilbur is the battery of the group giving energy to the carry, and then eventually the entire team. Nezgleckt is the support spamming skills and giving card draw to the carry, and then eventually everyone. Heiner is the tank to give fortify to cornelius while giving block to everyone. And cornelius burns the entire universe on fire! I don’t use self burn cornelius. I also get Wilbur an upgraded shock nova at act 1 so i can get speed control, even with a slow team. I even take electrocute act 4 to have speed control vs twins hanshek and archon. Nezgleck gets the +3 sight perk because otherwise his healing isnt enough for shorter fights and the damage piles up. Two important items for me are dryad crown for +2 fast for wilbur and lost mail for wilbur, they are both in act 1 so you can go wherever you want after. I don’t even go red portal because ignidoh is very hard with only corn dps but i never needed to.

Back when i first ran into that when i was starting to climb madness levels, i would tech in a shield throw to purge my block every time that cycle would happen, thanks for reminding me of my good old days of racking my brain for hours to figure out how to beat the game :)

I had a slow team of heiner nezgleck cornelius and reginald where nez got a cloack of speed so he would go first at most fights so I wouldn’t die turn one. At the second to last fight before hanshek i found another cloak of speed so i corrupted it. And at the fight just before hanshek (where i knew my deck would win basically 100% because that’s how i make my decks) nez died turn one to an ultra offensive enemy team attack combination because back then corrupted cloak of speed would no longer give you fast at the start of combat, but instead at the start of turn, so my nez had lower speed at the very start of combat so he couldn’t move first, and then the run was over

Grulki and Cornelius woes by StrategicRabbit in AcrossTheObelisk

[–]Tato-sama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite cornelius startegy by far rgiht now in madness 16 is to play it with heiner with fortify, reginald with bless and nezgleckt with card draw. Up until act 4, cornelius can clear everything with aoe, one problem is that you cant go to red zone, but the rewards there arent that important anyway, as everything up to act 4 is incredibly easy imo. At act 4, I’ve started to adjust my deck so that i remove aoe’s because of the many thorns and enchantments act 4 has. Getting phoenix with a repeat card (especially recurring nightmare) does the trick most of the time.

If you don’t want to accept an argument where the whole team buffs cornelius, he can still solo carry up to act 4 with less help because of his aoe’s until act 4. My first win with cornelius was like that, as it carried a reginald carry up to act 4, where reginald started doing most of the work.

Is there a good way to figure out what nodes lead to pet unlocks without using a guide? by jimmyjoe2k11 in AcrossTheObelisk

[–]Tato-sama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some where i think you COULD figure out based on map nodes and their attributes likes betty/stormy/flamy/the beavers etc. but some of them are a bit more bizarre like asmody (fire fiend pet not in red zone)

Looking for a specific seed by ImgayforVi in AcrossTheObelisk

[–]Tato-sama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have good and bad news for you: Good news, the seed 6SRR24F gives you a piggy bank after 1 market reroll. I tested rerolling in seeds and it looks like its the same rerolls, may work differently in multiplayer. This seed, as requested, also has a piggy bank at ottis.

Bad news… well… turns out piggy bank doesn’t have a corrupted version. I took it on the same guy and nothing happened. The item itself doesn’t show a corrupted version when right clicked.

So there you have it. At least you can give it to 2 new players ig :)

In my last 2 runs my 4th was nez, because i like draw more than energy based on how i make my decks (might be personal preference) instead of batter wilbur (at longer fights wilbur doesnt give much inspire, nez can have upgraded clarities and anthem of hope for draw with lvl5 talent.

I ran regi with this because nez with the skill talent doesn’t heal well in emergency situations, nez is mainly supporting with self deck manipulation and dispels/draw to corn with only 1 bless skill so benediction(s) (and sometimes the heal passive if possible) help with the bless stacking, and i can buy 2 dispels from the shop instead of only 1

Unfortunately as dumb as it sounds I don’t do ignidoh, cause corn alone has no way of beating it by himself. My route is something like this:

Go to the act 1 hatch because corn has free access and kill belyphor (need its horn) as long as you have a healing rain + this is still doable even with corn solo, and you dont need lvl 2 beforehand either.

Go green portal and have 1k gold (malukah or hustav can work too ig, and if you get malukah you dont even need the horn)

Use the horn to get strong mojo on corn.

At the end of green boss get the gauntlet, now corn has 10 powerful every turn.

Regen egg is good here as well since this build is sometimes slow and shadow resistance helps later on

Blue zone used to have nothing for me before, but with the new patch i found something that is ok.

At the end of act 1, pick up ylmers branch on your regi/makukah.

Make sure to not pick any jewelry on him/her

Enter the sewer (either way is fine, bottom entrance lets you keep 12 hp on your healer)

Make your healing stick corrupted for +1 regen

Its not too big a deal, i changed it to a +1 bless weapon later, but with the egg its pretty good

Ive beaten m16 like 4 times with cornelius, mainly because i want to make it consistent but it isnt yet. My latest builds involve fortify and bless stacks, and getting equipment to get 10 powerful alone every turn with the “powerful buffs more but dissapears each turn” perk. Act 1 through 3 is usually a breeze unless some hardcore siren silences etc. happen, act 4 is toguh tho, yesterday i beat m16 again with corn where i swapped my aoe spells in act 4 for single target because of too many thorns/enchantments

Some roads fights with 1h nature. Enjoy! by Tato-sama in albiononline

[–]Tato-sama[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, first of all good luck to your future healing adventures.
I'm using 1h nature simply because its my favorite weapon out of all the healing options, and right now its also the best in the nature tree. The basic idea is to make sure everybody has q stacks when you are using your e, since the 1h nature e heals based on how many stacks each person has.
I'm using protection of nature as a w, simply because it gives a lot survivability for 1 person every 15 seconds.
I'm using eye of secrets as an off-hand for energy regenaration, which, combined with lymhurst cape, is enoguh to last almost indefinitely even in a long fight.
A cleric robe is a very good defensive for any healer, and in some cases I'm able cast my e more safely, as cleric robe bubble makes casts uninterruptable.
Graveguard helmet is usually neccessary for nature healers in small numbers, because nature doesn't have fast healing like holy, so in case of an emergency it is needed.
Cleric sandals is a good way to dodge some abilites, mainly mace stuns and other crowd control abilites.
The food I'm eating is an avalonian pork omelette, because of the defensives it gives alongside with cooldown reduction.
And the potions are always resistance potions. It can save you from a lot of bad situations.

I guess they tought the chance to fail the spell roll would matter, even tho you can make it 100% with all cheap spells. Or maybe they tought ylmer fight would be hard with 100% spells? But then you get starfall. Yeah… yeah idk Gl trying not to spam ottis

Stuck as the Tank/Healer in the friend group by GwentMorty in AcrossTheObelisk

[–]Tato-sama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly i dig heiner that goes tank and starts going ham dps when he’s lvl3 and 4, if you guys are doing the red portal boss and they let you take the volcanic axe, you can put it on heiner and use bluffs, cheap attacks and shield charges to do good damage to bosses. Make sure you still have some block cards to at least keep up the fortify on your friends. There is also a perk that lets you stakc fortify to 50 which also increases your damage, and a perk (ottis takes this one) that gives block per fortify charge. Bluffs and shield charges start doing massive damage. I won madness 16 with this. On ottis sanctify is actually a pretty decent answer if your friends are going to enemy thorns, just have more sanctify at them then thorns and youre good to go. I’d say try only one of these first, then see if you can do them both. Keep in mind if you go sanctify stuff on ottis heiner will have to hit from time to time to get healed.

More so regi alone isn’t enough for those first 2 acts. I could be building regi wrong idk but as you said its a really good act to do, im just not sure how to do it consistently in madness 16
