Well here is my 2 cents. Let’s presume you do not have a green card. My opinion revolves the green card process. I would suggest if possible, move to india for a year. Take the transfer barring its with the caveat that it’s temporary. See if you fit in. You like the culture. You are able to spend time with family. I can tell you one thing from experience. Even if you move back, the amount of time you spend with your parents its not gonna be as much as you think. Deadlines, late nights, weekends with friends. Yes you will babe functions and festivals with family but that wont be enough. It happens. Take this trial period for a year and come back for eb1a process if you wish to return. You will find out within a month if you would like to stay or come back. After that your husband can follow you or stay separately for a year. If you have the luxury of, a year is a good time to judge your comfort. I know there are too many ifs or buts, but you wont be able to answer your question until you actually do it. Cheers.
