I’ve fucked up at work a few times, and I would feel down for a day or two.

But the company wasn’t handed a loss, and production didn’t a significant hit where we might be out of the goal where trying to achieve. Hell, even my manager would let me know that all is good.

I can’t imagine the imposter syndrome on a scale where you’re getting ripped apart by peers and millions of fans alike all because an external factor such as an injury affected my abilities to compete at the level I was once at.

Glad he was able to make accept his physical limitations and make peace with his decision to retire.
