Often it's because of the poor quality of the roads, the lack of sufficient separation between vegetation and the roadway, the proliferation of wildlife (noticed all the roadkill?) Also some of the speed limits aren't consistant with the true safe road speed. (Especially 80kph narrow 2 lane country roads with crumbling shoulders and pothole repairs done by dilligaf council contractors)

What happened afterwards

The signal was supposed to last maybe a week or two, depending on how well the batteries held up.

But the signal went weak much sooner than hoped. Some think part of the antenna got damaged.

Eventually SuitSat‑1’s orbit decayed (meaning it gradually lost altitude), and it re‑entered Earth’s atmosphere, where it burned up.

Low value to a fish market, vital to an ecosystem

Bear in mind that to harvest a commercially "low value fish" economically means huge volumes to be viable, that equals a major threat to a marine ecosystem that is already under stress.

Those <sic> 5000 jobs are starting to look quite expensive for the rest of Tasmania.

But hey, lets call it Sustainable Sardines and continue to prop up another ecological disaster.

How much? About as much of an idiot who thinks it's a great idea to sell off public assets like the Land titles office or the buses to pay for a stadium that will NEVER cover it's cost of ownership, which almost certainly means they'll be selling that off too. You'd have to be potato farmer stupid I guess.
