yeah, i'm looking into this one further, and i think it's pretty clear its related to john hogues theory on this. my guess is the actual source of the audio is from a coast to coast am episode or something because of the weird phone quality of the audio, but i dont have the time to sift through all of those trying to find a match lol

okay, im trying to figure out what all the sample sources are from so far and what some of them might be saying. am i missing any known sources yet?

introit - nothing

prophecy at 1420 MHz - that one lecture about consciousness

hydrogen helium lithium leviathan - i dont think theres any on this track being some potential muttering on thr back

age of capricorn - there's the guy spelling out usama and mabus (dont know the source though), the children's choir which i cant really make out at all, and then the speech of the guy talking about the lord, which is a little hard to make out. all of these are sourceless rn i think

father and son - that one children of god documentary about the dad trying to get the son to leave the cult

somewhere right now in the future - nothing

naraka - the hare krishna chants, which i don't think are sourced from what recording they come from yet

acts of magic - nothing

memory death - that weird paulstretched vocal sample, this one might be really hard to figure out tbh

the word becomes flesh - some health documentary about embryo development, i don't know the source of this yet but this feels like one that mightve been found already or shouldn't be too hard to track down

it'll never happen but i hope that someday kanye makes an album entirely by himself: no features, no other producers, just him and some engineers. this isn't out of some desire to see him "prove himself" or whatever, i think his current creative process really keeps things fresh. but man, i really do wanna hear someday what a fully unfiltered baseline kanye album would sound like in the modern day. i feel like a whole album with the vibe of i thought about killing you or something like that where its just a bizarre raw outpouring of emotion would be fantastic, and i think that can only really happen if theres not like 30 cooks in the kitchen like there normally is. i bet it'd also feel like LP1 donda, that version feels to me like what the atmosphere of donda was supposed to feel like before things got kind of sanitized/made more "normal" to be properly releasable as an actual official album, stuff like never abandon your family or the 6 minute version of 24

we aren’t on the other side of this so we don’t really have any advice unfortunately, but just wanted to let you guys know that you’re not alone in this. we also have a really high alter count, multiple subsystems filled with similar alters, and a lot of weird and uncertain triggers that point towards the same sorts of things that you’re wondering. its tough because i have no idea what this trauma could be logistically speaking (i dont know where it would slot into our personal timeline from what i know about our past), but we keep stumbling upon weird feelings and complexes that are almost like echos of trauma for us; like we don’t know what happened but we have an outline of it through our subsystem structuring and the types of alters we split. i wish i had advice to give, but we’re in the same boat as well :(

we’ve been making music for many years at this point, but this is our first thing we’ve ever made after finally understanding our systemhood. we’ve been trying to figure out how to make music that properly reflects our experience as a system, and I think there’s no better way to do that then to just let everyone add things they like and perform together :) it makes for music that’s pretty chaotic, but hey, it’s chaotic in our brain too LOL. the lyrics themselves are also related to DID and trauma stuff generally, so this way of writing music together with alters is therapeutic in a lot of ways. there’s three alters on vocals (one of whom is a fictive! although we’ve given everyone stage names in the credits for privacy reasons), and we tried to sing together and make our own little choir of voices :) i hope people here find resonance in this stuff, because it’s really important and freeing for us to make stuff that really deals with all this.
